Nakoa Kai in Sunny Poipu with Pool

Nestled in the back of a private cul-de-sac, this exquisite three-bedroom vacation home is located in the heart of sunny Poipu, walking distance to beautiful white sand beaches and the shops and restaurants of Kukuiula. Sixteen-foot glass-panel pocket doors open to an expansive outdoor covered lanai which features a black bottom swimming pool, lovely barbeque area, outdoor lava rock shower, and a large, fenced yard. This is indoor/outdoor living at it’s finest!

Beautiful cathedral ceilings give this home a feeling of grandeur from the moment you step inside. The expansive chef’s kitchen features a breakfast bar and plenty of space to spread out. There is indoor dining for six as well as an outdoor, covered dining table for eight. The entertainment area flows seamlessly from the the kitchen and offers up the perfect space to watch a movie on those rare, rainy days. Featuring modern tropical décor and local surf art, this home truly showcases island living.

All three bedrooms have cold A/C and king-sized beds. Two of the bedrooms are spacious master suites on respective ends of the home and feature en-suite full bathrooms. The bigger master suite has sliding doors that lead to a lanai off the pool area and the bathroom has a double vanity, jetted tub, and walk-in shower.

Some extra items the home includes - Surfboards, 4 bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and a pack-n-play!

This home is located in a quaint neighborhood and is just a stone’s throw from some of Kauai’s finest beaches and restaurants. Enjoy snorkeling in the calm, protected cove at Poipu Beach before relaxing at Keoki's Paradise for Hawaiian fare and aloha-hour drinks. End the day browsing the charming stores at The Shops at Kukui‘ula. The south shore of Kauai is also the gateway to Waimea Canyon and historic Hanapepe town.

This is a beautiful house in a nice neighborhood. Ideally situated on a back lot with no view of neighbors. The pool and outside deck area is my favorite spot. The inside is equipped with everthing you could possibily need. Very close to shopping and restaurants. This is my second time staying here and I hope to have a third visit.

Poipu Family Home With Private Pool

Fabulous family home with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with private pool in a clean and quiet neighborhood yet within walking distance to Poipu State Park, beaches, restaurants, and shopping center. Deluxe kitchen and outdoor bbq with plenty of supplied beach toys, hauling wagon, boogie boards, surf boards, 4 bikes (tho one had a broken gear and one had a flat tire with 2 in perfect working order), and board games-everything you need for lots of family fun. This gorgeous house surrounded by stunning foliage is in a quiet cul de sac and abuts a green belt so offers peace, privacy, and lots of outdoor living space. My family and I loved it and will definitely rebook in the future. Mahalo for sharing this beautiful piece of Kauai paradise with me and my family. Great memories made.🌺

Best Kauai property we've ever stayed at

We've been to Kauai more than twenty times, and this is the nicest property we've stayed at. The private pool was refreshing, the furnishings were great (we actually bought from the artist displayed there at nearby Latitudes at the end of our stay), and the kitchen had absolutely everything you could want. The three bedrooms all had air conditioning and were really comfortable. Loved this property!

Poipu Vacation

Great house, in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach and stores. Pool was not heated as advertised, but refreshing to say the least. House is stocked and the two surfboards and 4 bikes were nice. The only real downside which wasn't a huge deal was the electrical in the house was complicated and backwards in many areas. Switches seemed to do nothing in some areas while others were turned on by flipping off the switch. I would suggest labels on some of the critical switches around the house.

Nice with Major Problems

Main issue with this property in Kauai, is that Hawaii Life Real Estate company managing this VRBO rental, does not properly maintain it. The house itself is in a great location in Poipu, walking distance from shops and the ocean. When you first walk into the house, everything looks great, was clean and mostly as described in pictures. Overall, we did have a good stay. However, right away we noticed small things indicating poor property management and care such as: damaged screen doors, broken kitchen cabinets, outdoor grills that has not been cleaned, shower door handle coming off, missing light bulbs in all bathrooms, and garbage can already full upon arrival leaving no room for anything we generated to be put out. When I called the property management contact, I was even asked to go around and check the neighbor’s bins to take the garbage out. Despite all that, what really almost ruined our stay, was the pool pump noise (which made it impossible to sleep or at times hear each other talk.) Once management was able to get someone to come out, they were able to turn off the jets and pump that were cycling on/off. The repair person informed us this was not the first time this issue occurred at this property. The second thing that nearly ruined our stay on the last day was hundreds of white, worm-like bugs all over the kitchen and front room. After calling Hawaii Life Real Estate yet again, we had been informed that there was a known prior termite and beetle infestation that apparently has not been resolved. While the property itself is quite lovely, for the high nightly rate, this property is clearly NOT well taken care of or managed by Hawaii Life Real Estate and not worth the price. Beware of properties managed by this company.

Exceeded all expectations!

This home has it all. The house and sleeping rooms were spacious and ideal for families or multiple couples traveling together. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil and glassware you could imagine; there wasn't anything we needed that they didn't have. The pictures tell you everything you need to know about the pool and outdoor space, it's even more phenomenal in person. No need to bring/buy pool floats, pool toys, umbrellas, beach chairs, ice chests, etc. it's all there for your use. The house is located in a quaint cul-de-sac 3 minutes driving from the beach and 2 minutes driving to all the Poipu restaurants. The property was wonderful but Holly, are point of contact throughout the stay went above and beyond for us! Her service topped off our experience! For parents traveling with young children still sleeping in a crib: They have a really nice pack n play but it doesn't come with a mattress, just the covered cardboard insert, so you will either need to get creative with making it cozy or pack a mattress. Holly tried to find us a mattress on the island, but all any of us could find were more pack n plays. I highly recommend staying here, 10/10!

Attention needed

This home was beautiful and will be returning on our next trip to Kauai. The only reason I am giving 4/5 stars is because there were a few minor issues that I feel for the price of the home, needed attention. The master bathroom had broken and rusted shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers which made showering difficult. There was an unusually large amount of dust buildup on the floors- most notably in the hallway into the master bedroom. There was a kitchen cabinet next to the trash that ever time it’s opened saw dust would come onto the floor. The couch was very dirty with stains and needs attention ASAP. I also feel that even though it was not advertised it would be nice to have the pool a littler warmer in the winter months. Overall, the property was beautiful and management was very responsive and quick to help. Again, I would stay here again in a heart beat but feel that attention is needed in these areas to have a flawless home.

Million dollar tropical paradise

This home was absolutely beautiful. It had far more room than 2 of us needed, but we needed a ground floor rental and desired a private pool. This home delivered: comfort, beauty, amenities and privacy. It was close to shops, restaurants and beaches. And was a great location for day trips to the local sites. We loved it.

Beautiful home with gorgeous pool!

The house was very nice. It was nicely appointed with very comfortable beds! The bedrooms have air conditioning which was a lifesaver as it was warm when we were there. The kitchen was well stocked and the outdoor area very nice with grill and outdoor furniture. Would highly recommend!
