It is kind of a boarding house situation with different guests in different bedrooms I missed that it wasn't air conditioned in the description. Temp was ok at night but pretty warm mid afternoon. “We enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The room was nice and clean and the AC was crucial. The Kiahuna beach was very nice and the amenities onsite were good. We could partially see the ocean from our room but we could not hear it. We did not use the swimming pool or gym facilities because they were a bit of a walk across the street but the nieghborhood was really great. The lanai was awesome but the AC outlet is on the lanai with you and was exhausting hot air pulled out……

“We love this property! This is our second trip to Kauai and both times we stayed at this Marriott. The pools are saltwater and so relaxing to be in. We enjoyed the hot tub too. This property is located directly off Poipu Beach. Right down the beach you can see the turtles at sunset and the occasional monk seals. Many of the people who stay there are time share owners but we are not. We basically had a nice hotel room. The reasoning for the 4 stars was our AC. We had maintenance come in on 4……

“Overall, it was a worthwhile experience. The unit was very clean and communication with Peter was excellent. But, we really didn’t have any need to ask about much because everything was ready when we checked in. It took us a minute to figure out how to get beach towels, but again, not a problem. “The living room and the outside dining area has great ocean view. The property is right next to the pool(10 meters away). Clean place. The location is great and it close to everything. This is the ground floor unit and there are stairs you need to walk down to. The second bedroom’s window is lower than the garage level so it has a subtle feeling of basement. That’s probably why it is priced lower than other second floor building. We are fine with that and we leave the window open to ventilate.……
