“Love the convenient location for a home base. The property has a nice rustic cabin feel. It is clean (aside from a few dust bunnies that go with a log cabin) and has good amenities to make your stay great. The beds are comfortable, although they are short for tall people. In the kitchen there could be more cutlery (forks?!) and new frying pans. There was no propane for the outdoor grille so we purchased and left 2 full tanks. “We really enjoyed the property. There are short hikes around the property, that you can link up to longer hikes if you choose. About 20 minutes from Nelson. There are a few cabins on the property, but very private and not all too close to each other. It was very quiet and easy to get to more urban areas if you choose. We stayed here with two adults and our 5 year old and all had a great time. We will definitely come back and highly recommend. It's not for everyone, but if you like being a bit……

“This was my fifth stay at the Reno in Salmo. It feels familiar, safe, quiet and cozy. I can walk the entire town from this spot. It makes no claims to being chic or elegant. It's old timey and comfy. Recommended.”

“This house and property exceeded our expectations. The house isn’t visible from the road and the property is a hidden gem in the little town of Ymir. We loved staying here and the details that were put into the house and property are done with real care and intention. It was hot while we were there, but the house is well built and insulated, so even though it doesn’t have any A/C, it holds its temperature and cools off at night when the windows are open. The wifi at the time was spotty (likely……
