“I absolutely LOVED my stay at the Juan Rodriguez Hacienda. Our flight was delayed and had to check in late but they were so accomodating. They even brouggt some snacks to our room and had a little welcome drink waiting for us. The room was definitely not your run of the mill chain hotel room. It had beautiful marble floors throughout and a small balcony overlooking the quaint little alley/street. They offered us earplugs as our room was above the bar, however the glass doors were so……

“Clean room and friendly staff. Our room was next to the kitchen where the staff prepared breakfast for residents. We were woken up by the noise from the kitchen every morning during our stay.”

“The room we had was very clean, modern and roomy! The beds were very comfortable with wonderfully soft pillows. Great shower and well equipped with many toiletries. These were filled up daily. We had a kitchenette that came in handy for making midday tea, and also for refrigerating leftovers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Don't be put off by the area (there is a lot of graffitti) There is a lot of people gathering during the day and night at the local eateries. It is safe to walk……

“A great choice for visiting Athens! Centrally located, friendly and professional staff - especially Makis at check-in and the young lady whose name we sadly didn’t register at check-out, modern and excellent facilities, nice breakfast. The only issue during our stay was the WiFi connection that was at times unstable, but other than that we truly enjoyed the Athens Retro hotel and recommend it for an enjoyable stay as a frequent visitor of this beautiful city. ”

“We stayed two nights in Athens before our family reunion cruise. The hotel location is in center of Athens and just 10 minutes walk to the life style area of Plaka. Our room is clean and beds are good. However, the room has not enough lights and is too dark that you cannot do and find anything. I encountered an incident with a male receptionist at the last day morning when I want to take breakfast at the hotel lounge. He spoke in lengthly and flowery sentences and with in-appropriate vocabulary,……
