Week in Bonaire

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The house and yard were enjoyable. We had an issue with the air conditioning unit not cooling one of the bedrooms very well. The property manager did try to accommodate us for this inconvenience by moving us to another house or to move another bed into the other bedroom. Also, I would recommend the owner indicate that the rental truck is a manual transmission. Overall, we would recommend and enjoyed our stay.

Home sweet home

Our third time staying here for over a month each time. We love the feeling of having our own home in Bonaire without actually owning a home. Dip pool provided endless opportunities to cool off after a dive while watching an endless menagerie of chicken, birds, iguanas and at night bats! It is a very different experience than staying at a resort but one we relish. Arnold the caretaker was on point for anything we needed without be intrusive.When our truck developed a flat tire he had arranged for a fix even before we knew the tire was flat in the morning! Not sure when we'll be back to Bonaire but when we do return this will be our #1 choice if we are 4 people or less.

Ferienhaus mit grossartigen Garten

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und waren mit dem Ferienhaus sehr zufrieden. Insbesondere der Garten war unser Highlight in dem wir am meisten Zeit verbracht haben. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ebenfalls gut, das Zentrum von Kralendijk ist zu Fuss in 10min zu erreichen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und den Grill haben wir auch mehrmals benützt. Vom Preisleistungsverhältnis fanden wie das Ferienhaus mit dem Fahrzeug ein tolles Angebot. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm und auch die Abholung am Flughafen hat eineandfrei funktioniert. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Paradise

Bij aankomst stond Arnold ons op te wachten. Voordat ik en mij dochter naar Bonaire gingen kregen wij ook steeds fijne berichten en goede informatie van de eigenaars. Je zou Arnold zien als een beheerder van het huisje. Echter hij is veel meer. Een en al hartelijkheid, verbintenis, hulpvaardigheid en gastvrijheid. Ook de locatie: de buren zijn hartelijk, omdat je op Kaya America er direct naast woont. Het zwembad is lekker om af te koelen na een lange stranddag of gewoon lekker te luieren rondom. Ligbedden, hangmatjes maken dat volledig. Op korte (loop)afstand strand en centrum van Kralendijk. De luguanen, salamandertjes en kippetjes lopen vrij rond maar ook overal op Bonaire. Auto is aan te bevelen als je het eiland wilt verkennen. Bonaire is chill en dushi en de locatie zeker: voor herhaling vatbaar!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht..

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist zwar nicht luxuriös und neu, aber wirklich "sehr sauber" und sehr gut ausgestattet. Man hat alles was man braucht. Wir haben den Pool oft genossen. Er ist zwar klein, aber man kann sich wunderbar darin abkühlen. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es viel zu beobachten, Leguane, Echsen, Vögel, etc.. Arnold war für uns immer da, wenn man ihn brauchte. Vielen Dank an ihn. Die Lage ist so Zentral, das wir jeden Abend zu Fuß in der Innenstadt gegangen sind. Uns hat es an nicht gefehlt und können die Unterkunft für einen Urlaub auf Bonaire einwandfrei weiterempfehlen. Wir würden wiederkommen....

Echt heerlijk!

Wat een fijne plek om te verblijven op Bonaire. Ik vond het leuk om in een ‘gewone’ woonwijk te ‘wonen’, voelde net alsof ik er ook echt even woonde. Het zwembadje is top, en de tuin een klein paradijsje. Met leguanen, gekleurde vogels en hele fijne plekjes om te zitten en te ontspannen. En last but not least; onze lieve en attente buurman Arnold. Hij is attent, altijd beschikbaar en een gezellige buurman! Kortom, een heerlijke plek voor een vakantie op dit geweldige eiland ☀️❤️

Heerlijk verblijf in een fijn huis.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad op Bonaire in huis Bon Cas. Het huis staat op een ideale locatie en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Je voelt je net een van de locals. De kinderen waren niet uit het zwembad te krijgen. De hele dag door het geluid van de vogeltjes, en de kippen en hanen lopen los rond, soms zagen we een leguaan bij het zwembad en af en toe kwamen de ezels door de straat lopen. Geweldig. Arnold, de gastheer, is een topper! We konden bij hem voor alles terecht en hij stond altijd voor ons klaar. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Verblijf met een jong kindje

We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad met ons gezin, mijn man en ik en ons zoontje van 15 maanden. Er was een kinderbedje aanwezig en we konden bij de auto een autostoel huren. Hij heeft erg genoten in het zwembad, en ook de cementkuip diende als prima badje. 's avonds konden we heerlijk op het terras zitten en het was ook fijn dat Kralendijk op loopafstand was.

Heerlijk praktisch huisje vlakbij de boulevard van Kralendijk.

Fijn huisje met een topbeheerder als buurman. Dit huisje is knus en praktisch. Klein fijn tuintje met veel vogeltjes. Klein zwembadje om met een biertje even fijn in af te koelen na een activiteit. Kralendijk loop je zo in om s avonds even te eten of te borrelen. En qua wijk tussen de echte bonairianen, wat een gemoedelijke relaxte sfeer geeft. In combinatie met auto ideaal voor 2-4 personen. Dit was mijn zoveelste bezoek aan Bonaire en zeker niet de laatste keer dat ik bij deze verhuurders aan klop voor een huisje. Gewoon helemaal top!

Prettig huis alles is aanwezig veel vogels ed in de tuin. Goede bedden

Fijne tijd gehad op bonaire. De auto die we bij het huis gehuurd hadden kwam goed van pas. Zonder auto kom je niet op de mooie snorkel en duikplekken. Al met al een heerlijk eiland met prachtige natuur en onderwater wereld.

Alles wat je nodig hebt op Bonaire

Fijn vakantiehuis zonder poespas, maar wel met alle voorzieningen die nodig zijn op Bonaire (airco, koelbox, wasmachine etc.). Fijne caretaker Arnold en een prettige buurt op loopafstand van het centrum en de zee.

Heerlijk huis: goede basis voor relaxte Bonaire-vakantie

Huis Bon Cas is een heerlijk huis om je vakantie in te vieren. Samen met het relaxte leven op Bonaire een prima combinatie. De leuze die op Bonaire wordt gebruikt, Once a visitor, always a friend, slaat ook zeker op huis Bon Cas. In de tuin veel vogels, die snoepen van de suiker uit het suikerhangpotje, de leguanen die graag een hapje mee eten, de hagedissen rennend door de tuin en de parkieten die rondom het huis vliegen. In het huis zijn alle noodzakelijke dingen ruimschoots aanwezig. Ohja heel belangrijk.... de bedden zijn heel goed! De mogelijkheid om de Toyota Pickup erbij huren is zeer aan te bevelen. Ook de beheerder Arnold, die o.a. je vervoer van en naar vliegveld regelt, is een prima gastheer. Kortom: een prima vakantiehuis op een fantastisch eiland.

A Great Choice!

We are now home in Canada and already missing the beauty of Bonaire. We enjoyed our visit to Bon Cas. This house is one side of a duplex and Arnold who lives on the other side is the property manager. He is most friendly and helpful. I didn’t remember reading anywhere that there was a washing machine so it was wonderful to discover that there was! The photos and descriptions are accurate. This house is very good value for the money. We appreciated having the use of a picnic cooler and freezer packs. We loved the little murals painted on the walls inside and out. Carla emailed us very useful literature about the house and about Bonaire in general. We liked the privacy, greenery and wildlife in the backyard, and it was great to be able to cool off in the pool. It was wonderfully convenient to rent their truck and to have Arnold pick us up and deliver us to and from the airport. The location was great because we love being able to walk to town for the occasional morning coffee at the new Illy coffee shop or in the evening for happy hour or dinner near the waterfront. The neighbourhood seemed quite safe and quiet (as long as you don't mind roosters crowing :-) The only reason that we do not rate this as 5 stars is the following: the sink in the washroom is very small and difficult to use and the main room of the house was intolerably hot even with a fan running and the windows open on both ends of the house. The air con in the master bedroom was very effective. The unit in the spare bedroom didn't seem to function as well in spite of a service call. The winds were very light the two weeks we were there so the climate felt very warm and humid to us. The ceiling fan in the patio area was wonderful, and it was great to have so many choices of places to sit outside. We liked the privacy, greenery and wildlife in the backyard, and it was great to be able to cool off in the pool. Arnold showed us the owner's other two rental properties and while they are very beautiful and luxurious, I don’t think we would like to give up the proximity to town.

Perfect stay

For our first visit to Bonaire we stayed at Bon Cas. The location is perfect, a bit away from the center, but still walking distance to sea, restaurants and shopping.The house has everything you need and a pool which was frequently used. It's also pretty cool to have iguanas, parrots, kolibri and lot of other birds in the garden. If any issues or questions service man Arnold took care of it. Main reason for us to go to Bonaire were windsurfing which was great, but we also did a lot of snorkling. In short, a perfect stay. I hope to come back in a near future.

Fijn huisje

Bon Cas is een prettig huis om in te verblijven, simpel en heel praktisch ingericht: alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De vriendelijke buurman c.q. beheerder, en de Bonairiaanse buurt maken het een gezellige plek op Bonaire om te verblijven. De tuin is vol beesten, dat is erg leuk. Het zwembad is prima om even in te spetteren, maar wel echt klein.

Super leuk!

Een maal thuis na een heerlijke vakantie op Bonaire willen wij jullie laten weten dat het in een woord fantastisch is geweest!!! (In de zomervakantie)Het is een prachtig huisje met een fijn zwembad op een mooie locatie met een fijne auto! Onze 2 kinderen hebben heerlijk gedoken bij de plaatselijke duikschool. We hebben het heerlijk gehad!!!!

Super fijn huis!!!

Dit huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt op Bonaire! Heerlijke tuin, met de dieren die er zijn en zelfs mooie kolibrie's gezien!!! Kijk eens naar de bloemen... Het zwembad, en de fijne veranda waar we veel op hebben vertoefd! Met de auto mooie plekjes bezocht! Wij voelde ons hier helemaal thuis! Zelfs in Nederland hebben we niet z'on leuke buurman!!;) en ook Carla bedankt voor je gastvrijheid! Ook al liep de Barbeque even anders met kids ... Tot de volgende keer!!!

Super!!

Een weekje Bonaire ! In een woord:super. Wat een geweldig huisje. Wij een gezin met 2 kinderen die 16 en 17 zijn en graag duiken hebben het heerlijk gehad. De ligging van het huis is super dicht bij het strand. Een eigen zwembad met een heerlijke veranda. Wij hebben ook de auto erbij gehuurd wat een aanrader is! En dan de Buurman:Arnold. Waar moet ik beginnen. Wat een super aardige behulpzame en vriendelijke man! Hij staat altijd voor je klaar !

prima !

net terug van 2 heerlijke weken in dit fijne huisje, afhalen vanaf airport keurig geregeld, en buurman Arnold is er als er iets nodig is ! mooi schoon huisje, lekker zwembad en porch .... hebben bijna alleen maar buiten doorgebracht , we willen zeker nog een keer terug. de ligging van het huisje is prima, leuk om tripjes te maken op Bonaire met de bij te huren auto !! een vaartochtje met de glazen bodem boot, en een kanotocht op Lac zijn aanraders, te boeken bij de receptie van het Eden resoort !!

Just perfect !

We just returned from a too short vacation on Bonaire ! Everything was just perfect ! The location of the home, the size of it (we were 3 adults). The garden is a little piece of Paradise were we could relax, enjoy looking at the birds, the chickens, the iguanas...etc We also appreciate the pool ! We rented their car and this was perfect. everything was really simple like you want it when you are on vacation. Booking was a piece of cake even though we have had to make some bank transaction from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Carla, the owner gave us all the required instructions, informations and much more. On our arrival, Arnold (their neighbor) welcomed us at the airport and took real good care of us during the all week. It was our second time on Bonaire and this is only the beginning...we got certified during our stay...we are now officially PADI Open Water Divers ! Div'Ocean is the dive shop you want to deal with !! They are so careful, well organized. We just had a great time doing our certification with them. Hoping we could return in a near futur ! thanks for everything !!
