「Hanare Kyoto worked perfectly for my family of 4. The location was ideal - 5 min walk to the Kyoto train station, but set back on a quiet street and very private. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. We took advantage of the nice kitchen and ate breakfast at home every day. The in-unit washer/dryer was wonderful to have. 「Very beautiful machiya in quiet Kyoto neighborhood. We stayed with 6 people and it was a bit cramped. I do not recommend booking for a large group. 」

「Very clean, lovely room, though a bit far from Kyoto train station even though it looks very close on the map. Was a bit frustrating that desk clerk would not help us find taxi or transportation. Would recommend for other travelers who can work around getting taxis. 」

「It says 3 rooms in the Expedia page and only has two; and the room was not cleaned for our arrival. Also, the dryer took two cycles (4 hours and 3 hours) to leave the cloth not even dry. Besides that the spot is very nice looking. 」
