The Kumo room has giant gaps between the floor and the walls of the tent. I saw a huge bug run across my floor. The door to the Kumo room is two zippers and you lock it by putting a small combination lock around both zippers. It works, but is extremely inconvenient and requires you to get on the floor to lock and unlock your room. The food in the restaurant was mildly expensive for a small portion of mediocre food. The room itself and the view from it was nice though. Helpful staff who did their best to explain things to me despite the language barrier. I stayed there because everything else was booked, and it was a fine option, wouldn’t choose it again though. If you aren’t scared of bugs it’s a fine choice.

直島にいく予定で近くのホテルを探していて、このホテルに出会いました。いってみると、近くには瀬戸内海が広がり、どの部屋からも見えるようになっていてとてもよかったです。中にはとてもお洒落なカフェが併設されており、そこでは美味しいカレーとかフロート等、産地の食品を使ったリーズナブルなとても美味しい料理も頂けました。そしてなによりスタッフの人の心遣いに感動し、『ここにしてよかった』と何度も思いました。とてもアットホームで立地もよく、かならずまたこようと思っています。とても素敵な時間を過ごせました。ありがとうございました！
