Munich Kurfürstenzimmer Hotels

"Certainly the best ‘downtown’ hotel I have ever stayed in in 46 years of traveling to Europe. We were on the fourth floor overlooking the Main Street (Tal). When the window was closed, the room was silent. The room was air-conditioned which was fantastic. The breakfast service was fantastic. Great selection of food and by the fourth morning, they brought or coffee and tea to us directly. The Rollmops were the best I have ever eaten. Great selection of meat, cheese, bread and fruit was offered. The front desk was very helpful. Easy walking distance to Marienplatz S-Bahn station (however, if there was a down escalator, I could not find it). Many, many nearby restaurants. There was even a REWE store down the street. Many nearby churches including the Münchner Dom. Viktualenmarkt was ‚around the corner.‘ We highly recommend this hotel!"

"The scrambled eggs where to well cooked otherwise breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly the room basic with a comfortable bed and clean. Location fantastic very central with a direct LH express bus from and to the airport outside the hotel. "
