“One O Eight was the perfect stay. The room and property was spotless (the bath in the room was such a night treat), and the staff were all incredibly lovely. I opted for a hotel pickup from the airport as a solo female traveller and it was fairly priced and not much more than an Uber & I really enjoyed chatting with the lovely driver that collected me. The chef was so nice and made me a really lovely vegan meal for dinner and they packed me up a breakfast box for my early departure the next……

“Room were in a good condition except for when it rained the bathroom was flooded with water abit . Gate assistance for opening and closing was a challenge as land and mobile numbers remained unanswered as well as gate intercom . Maybe they should alert guests when functions are being held as the one night we were unable to sleep due to noise levels :-( .... Over rall the room was clean , beds lovely size and jacuzzi a nice feature , breakfast was absolutely brilliant - good service. ”

“Room is a bit small and reasonably clean. Location is great and free shuttle transfer can be arrange to drop off and pick up from nearby shopping mall, East Rand Mall. Buffet breakfast is also very good.”

“My flight landed at 7pm from GA, this is when I inquired as to where to get the shuttle. I was informed that they do not have transport services, and for me to take an Uber. Where do I find the Uber? Dont I need an app for that? Also I expressed that I would not have booked here if it didnt include transportation from the airport. I had another flight to take in the morning. How was I to get back at 7am? I found Uber, you dont need an app from the Airport. And they booked me one for the……

“On 8 August 2023 at 13:21, I called Acre of Africa Guest House to open the gate. They answered and said they will open the gate. In South Africa, too many people have hijacked at gates so I left rather than wait for them to respond. They finally called me back 17 minutes later. - but by then it was too late. Waiting for them to open the gate at night could have resulted in my kidnapping and murder - it's a scary thought. Now they're telling me they won't refund my money because I didn't wait at……

“I am generally pleased with the services here , the people are nice and helpful. I felt really relaxed here and definitely enjoy my stay in the hotel. There is only one thing that I felt funny about is that apparently there is not much changes available in the restaurant, almost every time, the waiter/waitress will have to give in back the changes at night... Although not in large amount, there is no changes available on my last day of stay (since I left in the morning!) ....Not a big issue and……
