「The property is clean and well taken care of. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great, only suggestion is arrive early. Great food rotations, we stayed a week and everything was delicious. The kitchenettes was a wonderful bonus to have in the rooms. Absolutely a great property. 「Upon arrival from a very long, 4 Hour Drive, I arrived at midnight to a huge party going on in the lobby/ballroom with such loud music that I could hear it all the way in my room until 1 AM. The bed was hard as a rock as well. I will never return」

「The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and we never felt otherwise during our stay. The building itself is a bit worn and has more of a hostel-style feel. While that may work well for some travelers, we were personally hoping for more of a bed-and-breakfast atmosphere」

「They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!」

「We loved our stay here. The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the enclosed seating area at the front of each cabin, with fresh coffee provided, was a great place just to sit for a while....
