"When we arrived we kept on looking for a guest house because we thought there was no way the entire large home was our vrbo we booked. It was very easy to get to, a short 10 minute drive from the town with incredible views. The hot tub was freshly cleaned, which was very important to us. The owners have very strict rules, which we deeply appreciate as we look for attention to detail, quiet locations, kind neighbors, and a home away from home experience. "Excellent small hotel right in the middle of the charming town of Sarlat. Literally two dozen restaurants, many of them excellent, within a 10-minute walk. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend. Two things to note, without detracting from the above: street parking is metered during the day, and the optional parking garage spot (5-minute walk) must be reserved in advance and costs extra; and there is no laundry service (there's a laundromat not very far)."
