“We checked into the location. Everything was ok, the property is secluded that should have been a red flag and the gate doesnt lock. The first night stay someone broke in threw the pool sliding doors and stole all of my belongings. I mean evrything from my passport, wallet, cellphone, credit cards to all of my luggage. I had to go to the embassy 3 hours away to get an emergency passport to leave the country. It is a tourist trap, spend the money and stay at a resort.”

“Beautiful beach with easy access from hotel. Staff was kind and helpful when needed. Apartment/room was well maintained and spacious.”

“We booked with Barefoot way in advance and had a lot of time to hype up the trip - and it well exceeded our expectations. We had a group of 24 college friends celebrating our 30th birthdays/college reunion and the property is awesome - tons of space with the rooms all with their own bathrooms, plus tons of outdoor covered space, the bar, loft, pool, and not to mention the whole beach right in front of you. We enjoyed all of the food that was prepared, especially the pig roast and Dominican……

“Staff was great and very nice. A very good budget option for someone with a rental car. I rented the studio and it was comfortable and clean. The hot wat sometime does not come one but it only happened like 3 times. This is my second time staying here and it has improved a lot since the first time.”

“We have had our trip booked for almost a year. From the beginning to the end Perry was more than amazing. He stayed in communication to ensure we had airport transportation, meals and everything we needed in order to have a relaxing vacation. The Villa was OUTSTANDING, the fact that there were two master suites shocked us all. The pool was warm at night and the cabana was beautiful. This house gorgeous the foyer was everything, very picturesque. The pictures dont do this Villa any justice. When……

“Arrived and room had mechanical problems with HVAC, fans, remotes for the television. Asked to speak to a maintenance technician to address the problems, hotel staff became very obnoxious with me. Was eventually switched to a new room that had the same problems and more. Left within an hour of arrival and am working on a refund due to the unsafe and poor conditions of the rooms causing me to have to find a new hotel to stay at. ”

“Not a 5star resort but still a good time. The views of the area are breath taking, the resort is very clean, food was good and overall had a nice time. Cons - the drinks are terrible, facilities have some opportunities and the service from employees is mediocre. We did the luxury swim out which was worth it. ”
