Nous y étions en famille avec notre enfant de 6 ans pour 3 nuits lors du congé de Pâques, début avril. Nous avions un bungalow Superior, ce qui nous offrait une vue imprenable sur le volcan Arenal. Les choix de déjeuner compris avec l’héberge était très bien. Le personnel était très sympathique, accommodant et disponible pour guider sur les activités à faire dans la région. La localisation était idéale, à proximité des principales activités à faire dans la région, à moins de 10 minutes de voiture du parc national Arenal et des nombreuses sources d’eau chaude. L’accessibilité des restaurants est bien si vous avez une voiture, il y en a plusieurs dans un rayon de 5 à 10 minutes et à 15-20 minutes de La Fortuna.

After reading several reviews that surfaced post-booking, I almost cancelled our reservation. However, we decided to chance it, and I am so glad we did! We stayed in a superior bungalow as a family of four (two adults, two teens) and had a wonderful experience. The superior bungalow was spacious and well-equipped with a functional AC, mini-fridge, and seating for four. The beds were firm, which I prefer. Housekeeping was excellent, visiting daily to mop and change towels; we felt completely safe leaving our belongings in the room. The hospitality was some of the best we have ever received. Cesar and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to help us. Regarding concerns about pests: the bungalows are rustic, so while a few ants or a gecko might pop in, we saw no mosquitoes or roaches. It felt very clean. The property is near a busy road, so traffic noise is audible, but we used earplugs to sleep soundly. Any noise was worth it for the view; sipping coffee while looking at the volcano was a highlight. Meals were basic but decent, affordable, and convenient. For those seeking more of an authentic, rustic experience with amazing views and top-tier service, I highly recommend this spot. For luxury, look elsewhere, but for us, it was just right!

The only positive aspect about this lodge is its excellent location but otherwise the place itself was dated, no places to sit and enjoy the views. No effort was made in bringing in some comfort and decor. The staff seemed more interested in their own gossip than customer service. For example we had to repeatedly ask for utensils at breakfast.. overall, save your money and spend it elsewhere.

Far from the noise, right by the Arenal volcano, the view is WOW! loved my stay here They also have a farm with cows, chickens and horses. I got the chance to watch them milk the cows and try to do it myself. The food is so fresh and delicious authentic costa rican! They have american breakfast option too. The rooms were clean, no bugs issue.

The hotel is clean , staff is nice, it is close to arenal national park, Tabacon hot springs, awuwaki (sushi), Raman restaurant, el novillo restaurant, the problem is we are given the room #1 which happens to be room with large gap between the door and its frame on both the top and bottom, we see bugs inside the room. After talking with the front desk, we were able to switch to a different room , room 14 which is clean with great view of the arenal, I would recommend the hotel but not room #1

It was just extremely dated it looked like the Flintstones designed and decorated it. The pool could be nicer and better tbh, however the view was incredible!! I also believe they can have a nicer and indoor breakfast area; especially because it rains a lot and it was wet and out in the open.

Room was clean but facility is older and rough around the edges. The toilet backed up, the hot water ran out, the lock on the door is flimsy (just a doorknob lock) and overall this place a real budget hotel experience. If I were to visit Arenal again I would definitely stay at a nicer place

Windows to the bungalow didn’t fully close, took several minutes of water running to get hot water for the shower, poor lighting, thin walls so you could hear everything outside and traffic from the nearby road, wifi almost non existent.

We did not get our three star room, but instead they gave us a two star motel. The receptionist said Expedia put the wrong pictures that was a big lie. This was our anniversary night and they tinned it for us by scamming us. stay away from this place go somewhere else.
