The staff was fine. When we arrived to check in, the water had been off all day so the rooms had not been cleaned.
After a couple of hours the plumbing company did the repair. And the room was cleaned. We were able to get into the room late in the day.
The water was never hot during our 2 night stay, therefore, unable to shower the entire time. The towels were thin and stringy, only 2 towels, no washcloths, nor hand towels. No soap. We had to ask for more than 1 cup of coffee and then were told there was none for us on day #2..
The location is spectacular but the services provided are the most sub par we have ever experienced.

This place was unbelievable. The view.....I have no words. Great condo. Good food. (Breakfast) not one bad thing I could say. Only be prepared for the seclusion. Nothing around so bring what you might want to eat and drink besides breakfast

The suite was exactly as pictured. It was clean. Yazdany manned the reception while we were there. He was so helpful and patient. The breakfast was pretty good. My only criticisms were that the trail on the property should be maintained better and that the road leading to the property was really bad. We were warned ahead of time about this but it was still a bit jarring. Luckily they were actually repairing the road the day we left so it should get better. Overall really enjoyed this stay. I will definitely return.

The road leading to the hotel was so bad we couldn’t drive on it. So we rented a room elsewhere. Should have a warning about that!! Therefore I have no idea what the place is like.

I absolutely loved this property. It’s very small and quaint but the views of the volcano are amazing. I love the bathtub with the window looking at the volcano. The dirt road to drive there is a little sketchy being that I’m a woman by myself and did not have a four-wheel-drive, but I made it. There’s no food on the property, but there is a resort next-door that I walked to and it was great. It is advisable to get food or drinks on your way to the hotel, there isn’t much within a 20 minute or so drive. I would definitely stay here again!

Hard to get to but it was worth it. Best view ever of Arenal volcano. Beautiful surroundings. Ten minutes from the hanging bridges. They send you to a gorgeous view restaurant for breakfast. Air conditioning was great. Comfortable bed with view of Arenal. They even have a jacuzzi hot tub in the room. Private patio with bistro to have a glass of wine while enjoying the mountain and gorgeous surroundings. Price was under $100. Coffee in room. Fridge, microwave and kitchen to cook if need be. Loved it!

It was quick and easy check in. The tub drain did not work so we didnt use it. There was never anyone at the desk in the morning for service. We had to leave a note on the door to get toilet paper when we ran out.

Amazing place and wonderful service! Easy to drive to, a bit of a rocky road but was NOT an issue to get up there. Definitely need a 4x4 SUV so the drive is safe.

Amazing views, charming atomosphere.
Great boutique style, cabin-like atmosphere.
Arenal Roca Suites is approx. a 40 min drive from La Fortuna. The last km is a bumpy ride but we felt this was part of the charm!
Caesar and his colleague took great care of us. Breakfast was delivered to our suite in a basket, fruit, granola, yogurt, bread, jams and orange juice. Other meals are your responsibility, remember to stop for groceries before you arrive, there is limited access to restaraunts!
Caesar is knowldgeable about the area and took time to show us frogs and tucans.
The view of Arenal Valcano is spectacular from any of the suites!
There are few human beings in this area so if getting away from it all is what you want, this is the place!!!

So beautiful! Quiet spot with a comfortable bed and beautiful views. Caesar was amazing and helped us set up some tours and transportation. Next time we come, we will likely rent a car, as some cars didn’t want to go here because the road is very rocky.
