El lugar esta muy bien ubicado, las instalaciones en muy buen estado, limpio, bonito, el desayuno super rico, la alberca limpia y en muy buen estado. El personal fue muy amable y brindaron informacion de tours muy buena.

Room was fresh and clean. The grounds were beautiful. Close enough to walk to Fortuna but tucked away in a calm, tranquil area. Breakfasts were great, staff were attentive. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. Good price. Staff was great. Very easy check in. Good location on outskirts of town but close to town. If you are in to birds there are a LOT here. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and good sized. Plenty of parking. WiFi was fast and easy to connect.
The things to make note of, and this is common across most hotels in Costa Rica, is the bathroom situation. You can not flush anything. So be aware of this when visiting. The only thing we found odd and only inconvenience was the shower. It is in the room, not in the bathroom, and has a see thru glass door. This is fine if you are a traveling couple but we were a traveling family. The weather was amazing our whole trip so we just hung out by the pool while someone was using the shower. We will be making a few more trips to the area and will definitely consider staying here again.

My favorite thing was the birds at breakfast. They feed them so there were a lot of beautiful birds to watch. The breakfast was sparce as they ran out of a lot of things due to a big crowd. The room was fine although we had to park in a muddy parking lot.

The breakfast menu was the same every day, which became repetitive. Housekeeping replaced our towels with ones that had visible stains, which was disappointing. There was no telephone in the room to contact the front desk, and we noticed a few ants in the room. Additionally, all TV channels were in Spanish—having some English options would have been appreciated.
On a positive note, the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming.

We had such a great experience at Eco Arenal. We stayed for 5 nights as a family with three kids and it was perfect. The room was very clean, shower was very modern, beds were comfortable, and we never got tired of the many options available at the daily breakfast. The hotel is an oasis, just close enough to bustle of La Fortuna and all the activities but remote enough where you wake up to the sounds of the monkeys and can see plethora of birds flying around.

The hotel is lovely! Considering it’s a two star hotel - the amenities, breakfast, territory, staff are great. The owner is welcoming and attentive to any requests. We stayed with two kids for five nights. It wasn’t the most comfortable bed. Overall it was a great stay and perfect location away from busy area so you feel in nature, but short drive ( 5 min) to downtown La Fortuna.

Spotless, high-ceiling rooms. I loved the layout of the venue, the gardens and the location- not right downtown. The staff were excellent, especially the front desk/ do it all superstar, didn't get her name but she agreed, Thailand next. At one point I thought some ones dogs were waking me up from a much needed nap however was just the howling monkeys. Highly recommend.

Værelset var godt. Dog er det meget upraktisk ikke at kunne lufte ordentligt ud efter bad, da baderummet er placeret midt i rummet.
Der var stille på værelset, hvilket var rart.
Morgenmaden var fin. Stort udvalg. Dog er jeg mere til kvalitet frem for kvantitet, som det ikke afspejlede her.
Lokationen er lige udenfor byen, men hvis du har bil er det fint.

Loved everything about our stay. The cabin was perfect for
Hearing howler monkeys at 4:00am. Birding tour with JP was outstanding. Staff were all helpful. Meals were delicious and loved all the birds at the feeders while we ate breakfast. Missed it the minute we drove away!
