The views from the main restaurant, beach bar and ocean front room, were well worth it. Watching the surfers was very entertaining. “Beware! This hotel is not in central Bocas Town, even though that is where the Expedia map and the "View in a map" function shows the hotel to be. The hotel is actually on Isla Pastores, which is at least a 30 min boat ride from Bocas Town. The hotel is not at all convenient for the main Bocas del Toro attractions, such as snorkeling, surfing, Starfish beach, Red Frog beach, Zapatilla Islands, etc. The hotel appears to be trying to lure customers into thinking that it is centrally located.……

“The Bocas Del Toro hotel is awesome! The entire hotel is done in a nautical theme. It is a quiet and safe hotel and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant downstairs has a special burger made with the chefs artisan bread. It’s sooo good! Be careful in Bocas because there are many bars and loud discos that go late into the night. The Bocas Del Toro hotel gets quiet after the dinner crowd leaves and you get a restful night. ”

“Very clean, well-organized, and cozy place to stay. Just a few minutes’ walk from downtown, yet quiet because it’s not right in the center. Excellent kitchen and fridge with everything you need to prepare snacks or meals. Several grocery stores are only a few minutes away as well. Very good coffee available all day! I’m a solo female traveler and felt very safe. I booked a room with a private shower on the lower level. Thanks for a great stay — I’ll definitely be back!”
