“Great location in Bocas town, walkable, food and vibes all around and easy access to water taxis and walkable to the airport too. Hotel was clean, the wifi and air conditioning worked perfectly. Friendly staff too! ”

The owners also provide snorkeling gear and kayaks, which is a nice touch. However, several issues made our stay disappointing. We booked a cabin advertised as oceanfront, but the view was completely blocked by palm trees—no ocean visible at all. “My wife and I stayed for 9 nights last week and couldn't believe how quiet, peaceful and lovely the place is! The beach was beautiful and private. The whole place is private! You are literally on a remote island that is off the grid! The only place to connect with the outside world is in the main clubhouse where there is satellite internet, which we didn't mind at all bc we were definitely trying to unplug. There are some activities you can do such as your basic water sports or book……

“Beware! This hotel is not in central Bocas Town, even though that is where the Expedia map and the "View in a map" function shows the hotel to be. The hotel is actually on Isla Pastores, which is at least a 30 min boat ride from Bocas Town. The hotel is not at all convenient for the main Bocas del Toro attractions, such as snorkeling, surfing, Starfish beach, Red Frog beach, Zapatilla Islands, etc. The hotel appears to be trying to lure customers into thinking that it is centrally located.……

“Internet was good. Had a nice view of the ocean. Room was adequate size for two. Floor was not clean. A/C and ceiling fan were functioning and reasonably quiet. Lighting functioned. Dated decor. King sized mattress had a well on one side. Closet hanger area is pretty small with space for 1 large suitcase below. Desk is very small ... more of a shelf. Shelving space is adequate.
