“Beautiful sunset dinner view. Albert grabbed an extra table and set it out for us when all others were taken or reserved which made for a lovely family experience. The kids would have spent the whole day at the pool if we had let them.”

“This place is amazing at its core. Legacy of a beautifully crafted resort and on the edge of a stunning jungle. They could up a little the service at breakfast (I had to ask several times for cream and went some meals with no water poured) and stick to entrees that they excel at, the pastries and crossaints are not their forte. But the staff was nice. They also could do so much more in the way of wellness offerings and that would make this resort such a destination. I also recommend having……

“Cute little hotel in downtown Liberia. It's pretty basic but clean and the staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. After our flight was cancelled on a Saturday evening, we ended up at El Cerro along with many others from the flight. The staff worked hard to get everyone settled, gave us late night dinner options, and booked cabs back to the airport for the morning. So grateful to the wonderful front desk person on Sat March 21!”

“ A long and bumpy ride up to the lodge. As soon as you check in they force you to pay for breakfast as you are disoriented and tired from the ride. You are told you are not allowed to decide in the morning if you are even hungry. Paid for two for breakfast. In the morning only one could eat breakfast because the other was sick. Asked for a refund for the one, two weeks later never received it compensation. Also Couldn’t even open my balcony door because the outside smell of sewage. Paper thin……

“The property grounds were nice and well kept, the staff were friendly but the rooms are basic with no amenities but were clean enough. The hotel could use an update. The stay for the value was adequate. ”

“Knowing this wasn’t a 5-star hotel, our expectations were low. We arrived here at the end of a week-long travel and were surprised at how this was the perfect stop for the night before our flight from Liberia. We loved this motel-style stop and there was a small breakfast included that had something for everyone. ”

“The host is amazing, and the hostel offers good value even though, on some evenings, there was a power outage and sometimes we didn’t have water at the property. Overall, it's great, and I will definitely come back when we travel here again.”

“Wifi didn’t work we were stranded. The manager only activated to us his personal wifi in the morning at breakfast. The road leading up to the lodge is very tough. The manager offered to guide us but was veryyyyy expensive. Around 300 dollars for 2 days ”
