La Maddalena Family Hotel

"The reception people were outstanding and exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was quite varied and delicious and the hotel was immaculately clean. We enjoyed watching the ferries load and unload while having our breakfast. I will definitely stay here again. "

"Nice hotel with lovely pool area and views over the harbour. The walk in to town is not very pleasant and so you need a car to access town and surrounding areas so consider this in your planning. We only had the breakfast in the hotel which was excellent. We also did the hotel organised boat trip on Dolce Vita which was outstanding and I highly recommend. Overall the hotel is a bit run down in the common areas etc but the pool area is lovely. "

"The villa is located in Villagio Piras on the eastern flank of La Maddelena in an elevated position maybe 200m from the sea. The shoreline is rocky with a very small beach about 500m away; the larger Spaiggia di Spalmatore is at a distance of 1500m. There are no local services; the nearest supermarket is at a distance of 3km and the large majority of bars and restaurants are in La Maddelena town so a car or scooter is really essential. "Fantastic four night stay at the hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was well maintained and cleaned regularly, with good aircon, and strong and hot shower. Breakfast was great, with a wide range of foods available and a variety of different cheese, fruits, pastries, yoghurts and cakes each day. Location is also good. Ubicación buena para fácil acceso alas calas y playas pero teniendo en cuenta que en La Maddalena es casi imprescindible el tener autos para movilizarse."
