“This place was the highlight of our trip! The room was spacious and clean. The property grounds were immaculate and gorgeous! The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was delicious! The pool overlooking the sea was awesome! Samara is a short drive away and the beach is within walking distance from the property! We highly recommend this place! ”

“Die Unterkunft war perfekt für uns. Das Pool war zum Strand eine gute Abwechslung. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Service in der Residenz sehr gut. Das einzige was uns ein bisschen gestört hat ist das kleine Badezimmer. Doch der Rest der Wohnunh war gross und geräumig, deshalb ist das nur eine kleiner nicht so wichtige Kritik. ”

“Wir waren im Juni 2025 im Hotel Belvedere, Samara. Für dieses Hotel vergeben wir 10 von 5 möglichen Sternen. Gebucht hatten wir einen der beiden Luxus-Bungalows, die keine Wünsche offen lassen. Super eingerichtet bis hin zu Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle und einem kleinen Safe. Die Besitzer, Michaela und Manfred, haben hier ein kleines Paradies erschaffen. Sie kümmern sich sehr liebevoll um ihre Gäste und stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und……

“A beautiful location, with lush landscaping and only a five minute walk to the beach. Many excellent restaurants very close by on Samara’s main street. We loved the variety of birds by the pool.”

“Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that……
