"The staff was amazingly welcoming and helpful. Parking was easy and plentiful directly across a small street- we had no problem taking our luggage into the property. This location really provided a magical experience with a beautiful garden which had décor from across the world. Even a koi pond and turtles. There were multiple places to enjoy the outdoor seating. the room was a very nice mix of an historical wall with new amenities. Very clean. We loved the room keys! Breakfast was exceptionally good with a variety of items to choose from."

"What a beautiful property that is rich in historic charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hrlpgul staff, easy parking on the property, and the restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to enjoy the breakfast as we had an early flight back home."

"Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a narrow, hallway-style shape. Our knees touched the wall in front of us when sitting on the toilet. The room was slightly humid (end of April stay). The wifi did not work for me, but did off and on for other guests. The hotel was hard to find because there is no number “23” to mark the address. We missed the small plaque posted at the beginning of a stone wall/fence down below the yellow building. You walk up a driveway to the building once you see the plaque. We had a very good sleep because the town of Sintra is very quiet in the evenings after the day-trip tourists leave. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night. No restaurants were open to serve dinner/food after 10 pm. Shops were closed evenings."

"My stay at the Valverde Sintra Palacio Seteais was exceptional. The staff was attentive from the moment I walked in and looked after me throughout my stay. The atmosphere is magical and each room makes you feel truly a princess. A wonderful place that is very private and exclusive. You are made to feel with a personal touch rather than just a customer . "Beautiful room and heated floor bathroom! Close to all tourist spots. Staff was amazing. We stored our luggage when we arrived and went to Quinto. The breakfast was the best in Sintra with the highlight freshly squeezed OJ. Highly recommended this hotel, we would stay here again. "

"Reception had no staffs when we arrived around 4 PM, we had a hard time getting the luggage which we dropped off earlier. Fortunately a neighbour helped us to call and finally the problem was resolved."

"Parking is great, underground. Though does get crowded. Above ground is limited. Scarcity of waste baskets , throughout. A new water cooler is being installed in lobby, which is great. Bathrooms are so so. They implemented this one piece, PVC shower, toilet and sink combo unit so as to not have to deal with the plumbing - older building. Main issue is the stench from sewer, which appears from time to time. Otherwise, the rooms are very clean and functional. Still only one waste basket in bathroom. Location can't be beat if you're there for a surgery, or loved one staying at Hospital. CUF is directly across street."
