"Staff was very accommodating, and were able to store my baggage for the day while I went out to explore. Note that the hotel is in the driving restricted historic center, so likely your taxi or tuktuk will drop you off on the main road, and you'll have to walk 5 minutes to the hotel. Breakfast was small, but had everything we needed for a healthy start to the day. Room size was good, and bed was very comfy. Adjoining bathroom was quite large, with a comfortably sized antique rain shower that was set very high to accommodate any basketball player-sized guests. Room did come with a heater, which I appreciated. "

The only thing to understand before booking is that it’s a charming converted mansion so sound proofing may not be the best and some rooms might feel a bit tight, especially if you’re a larger person. The grounds are enormous and one can literally lose oneself walking in nature around the golf course. There are five great restaurants on property.
