Casa Ouricos is a stunning family villa, set on extensive grounds in a tranquil location, yet just a 15 mins stroll into the village of Carvoeiro with it’s variety of restaurants , amenities and beaches. An Ideal location for a self-catering family holiday, the villa benefits from a large closed off pool area with heated pool (optional), Air Conditioning, Unlimited Broadband WiFi.
The Space:
Casa Ouricos is a stunning family villa, set on extensive grounds in a tranquil location, yet just 15 mins stroll into the village of Carvoeiro with it’s variety of restaurants, amenities and beaches.
An ideal location for a self-catering family holiday, the villa benefits from a large closed-off pool area with a large private swimming pool, heating available upon request at €300 per week from March to October, Air Conditioning, Unlimited Broadband WiFi. Located Outside are plenty of deck beds, sunshades, and seating for 9, Large BBQ, 12 x 6 m pool and table tennis. A good-sized grassed area with football goals, ideal for ball games and kids play area. With steps leading to a shaded terrace at the front, the accommodation on the ground floor is open-plan with and an attractive sunken sitting room with ample seating Cable TV with Limited English channels, DVD, and sound system. Fully fitted kitchen and very well equipped with table and chairs and a dining terrace. There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and master with en-suite upstairs, which leads out to a private sun terrace.
Some of the best beaches on the Algarve are located within a 5 minutes drive away, along with tennis, golf courses, riding, water parks.
Tourist Tax came into force on 13 April 2024, in accordance with Regulation no. 425/2024, published in Diário da República no. 72 of 12/04/2024. The tourist tax charge is €2 per night during the high season (April to October) and €1 during the rest of the year (November to March) per person, up to a maximum of seven straight nights for all tourists aged 13 or older. The tax is to be paid either prior or upon arrival.
Guest Access:
Check-in / Check-out: 3 pm / 10 am. Bed linen, bathroom towels and pool towels provided. Travel cot and highchair available upon request.

Lovely Stay
Lovely villa with an amazing pool. Villa layout slightly awkward going through a bedroom to get to pool or having to use the front door. Would benefit from gated driveway to improve feeling of security. Great peaceful location it a short walk or taxi to town.

An excellent villa in a great location!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Villa. Everything was perfect. Pool was huge, the kids absolutely loved it. Just a short walk down to the town and beach. Lots of beautiful beaches to explore if you don’t mind hopping in the car. We’ll definitely be back in the future. Thank you 😊.

Very Good Family Villa
Spacious extremely clean and well equipped villa, the pictures and description are accurate and the grounds are really large with 3 or 4 different terrace areas to sit. We stayed 2 weeks from 4 July'19 with 2 families in the second week and it never felt like we were on top of one another. The kitchen is large and well super well equipped and the pool is huge with an nice BBQ and dining area at one end. We also used the table tennis quite a lot. Its close to several supermarkets (within 1-3km) and 15 mins walk to to seafront, closest restaurants 8-10 min walk. A small cafe / bar has recently open at the end the road less than 100m from the villa. Carvoerio was a good choice for our group with kids from 6m to 16 years, a good selection of restaurants, ice cream shops and beach all within easy walking distance. Travel cot and high chair are provided and there are fold down beds which make it easy to accommodate 3 people in one of the rooms.
Communication with James at Carvoerio Villas was easy and efficient. One of the a/c units and DVD weren't working when we arrived and both were replaced at the end of the first week.
I'd like to give 4 1/2 stars and we would certainly consider returning. I didn't give 5 stars because of a few small details: the Satellite TV english language channel selection is poor (Sky News / Bloomberg News and a handful of US channels) , no BBC or ITV channels so we had to resort to watching Wimbledon on an iPad. Also worth knowing the WIFI signal doesn't reach the pool end of the house or pool area (a simple wifi extender would fix this). The villa could also use some additional sun loungers around the pool (there were 5 which is too few when villa is at full occupancy) and the ping pong bats are falling apart and need replaced. These are small things and will be unimportant to some guests, but for us it was the difference between very good and perfect.

Lovely well equipped villa
We stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much we came back. This is just about the best equipped villa we've stayed in - it has plenty of all the gear you'll need. The pool is enormous, and gated ( so good if you have young children). And it's only a 10-15 minute stroll into Carvoeiro. When to odd thing went wrong (e.g. a fuse tripping) George was immediately contactable to get it fixed. We checked in with no problems and had been to Intermarche supermarket (2 minutes in the car) and back in no time. We'd go back any time.

Wir hatten eine erholsame, entspannte Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus. Es ist alles da, was benötigt wird und der Pool ist traumhaft. Etwas abgelegen vom Ortszentrum ist es hier schön ruhig (von den Hunden in der Nachbarschaft mal abgesehen). Das Zentrum und der Strand von Carvoeiro sind fußläufig in ca. 15 min. zu erreichen. Es empfielt sich ein Mietauto. So sind dann auch benachbarte Strände und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bequem und schnell zu erreichen.
