2 things need to change. Microwave and a TV. It's nice to be able to bring food back to eat later, but not having a microwave to heat it up really sucks. The T.V, after a long day of walking laguna, being at the beach and in the sun, it's nice to hit the bed early, lounge and put on a show. Just a few things I think need to change. Other than that, we love the hotel and the location.

We visit Laguna at least 3 times a year, and have never stayed at Laguna Surf Lodge so we weren’t sure what to expect. But we had the most amazing experience, the services was 5 star and so was the room. The views absolutely took our breath away. We had dinner reservations at the Montage but decided to cancel and enjoy the balcony of our room instead. The hotel also was in a great area, not too far from the downtown shops and restaurants.

This was our 4th visit in 5 years. The newish management/owners have done a fine job with rehab/upgrading the rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The views from most ocean-facing rooms are terrific and the common areas are comfortable and clean. We'll be back.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. From the proximity to the ocean to the staff and the surrounding area. If I could give it more than five stars I would. It’s absolutely amazing. The staff goes anbove and beyond to make things excellent. The ocean is right there. The beach is amazing. Will absolutely stay here again. However, they do not have TVs in the room so that is if that is important, you may not like it.
