"We had a very friendly welcome and even though we were the only guests staying as it was a Monday night out of season, the owner lit the fire pit for us to relax out back in the evening. If you are going to be in Arnold and looking for a motel, we would thoroughly recommend this place."

"The room was clean and the set temperature was just right. It’s an older establishment, but it is properly maintained. There is a general store on the premises. The lake is a short drive away, with trails for hiking. The staff are friendly, and answered my questions regarding check-out time. (11 am). Whether you’re passing through or looking to get away from the crowds, this was a sweet location to just chill and relax."

"An amazing property that was clean and well maintained. The backyard was awesome and my dog loved every second out there. The rooms were so comfortable too and each room had a TV. The kitchen was equipped with supplies as well. Lastly, the host was so kind and super easy to communicate with during our stay. Hopefully, we get the chance to stay here again in the future."

"My family had an amazing weekend at this cozy cabin. It was warm upon entering and everything was just as described from the photos and description - you just need to bring yourselves, your clothes and food. There was plenty of space for 10 of us and two dogs. We especially loved the porch area and the river right in the backyard! Host was very friendly and easy to contact. Would stay here again...I'm sure it would be a fun in the summer as well as Pinecrest Lake is nearby! "

"We are leaving this review to warn future guests about the experience we had with this host - following our stay, the host claimed we soiled a mattress and immediately charged us 433 for a full replacement. This claim is entirely baseless for two reasons: 1) our group consisted of three children who are 10 and 11 and for these kids the days of any bed-related accidents are long gone, 2) we didn't have any soiled underwear/pants to deal with during our entire stay - it's entirely possible this was a pre-existing condition which is forced upon us without any due diligence and investigation and charging us without any prior communication in an attempt to clarify the situation is deeply concerning. We hope future guests would consider our experience before committing to stay here"

"The hotel com page is misleading. The property is represented as hotel with ski in / out and restaurant but in practice it’s different properties in the resort. The one I was in was not near the lifts at all."
