“Birding for the accidental birder was fascinating--from the canyon towhees, to the lesser goldfinches, the white-crowned sparrows, the barn swallows, several species of dove, the curve-billed thrasher, the vermillion flycatcher (what a beauty), and the four to six blue grosbeaks playing in the sprinkler”

“Did not like parking lot on side. Wasn’t handicap friendly. And too many ruts and dark at night. Liked room except for kid size toilet and no seat in shower. Common area very usable and whole facility very clean.”

“This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Blue Agave and like the last 2 times it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Very comfortable cottage that is very well maintained. Really appreciate the owner letting us bring our dogs. Not too many place allow that in Fort Davis. We will return again. One concern was the lock box that the key was in. We got the key out just fine but we could get the key back in the lock box or reinsert the lock box. So I had to leave the key under the doormat when……

“If your going to Fort Davis, Texas you probably are going for the observatory. Mark’s property was super convenient for this. We enjoyed the late night Star party and the night drive back was easy. House is clean and furnished nicely. I’m glad I had my sleep mask as I like dark room; just note the Sun does come in through the shades. Their is a tasty store / Deli super close that we enjoyed. Great back patio area with fire pit was enjoyable . Very quite area . We always prefer private properties……
