Amazing location in Warrensburg. Just minutes from Lake George village. The house and grounds itself is very spacious yet cozy. Lots of family friendly stuff to do! Would definitely recommend for big family getaways!

Great getaway location!

There were 10 women and plenty of room for all of us. The outside fire pit and pool were great to have and the area/neighborhood around the house was walkable. The host was amazing! She was easy to get in touch with, extremely responsive and very nice.

Wonderful place for family gatherings

This is the best home for a family gathering. We had 6 couples here. All felt very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you might need and more if you plan any cooking. The home is clean. The yard is huge and the wrap around porch beautiful and cozy. The host is wonderful. You won’t regret staying here.

Rating a 5 on the entire experience. Host, went above and beyond to provide everything needed. House fully equipped and more. Spacious rooms, lovely decor and quiet property, close to anywhere u wanted to visit. Would certainly recomnend any big family (we had 12 all ages) something for all ages right on the property. Would do it again.

Very spacious house!

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The house is spacious and clean! Everything we could ever imagine that we would need was available in the house! The living room areas are huge. There were plenty of seating on the pool deck and back lawn. I would definitely recommend this house to friends with a large family. One recommendation would be to add a second bed to the upstairs master bedroom because it is a huge room!

New Years weekend.

Great house fully stocked. We used all the bedrooms and the beds were super comfy. My only suggestion is maybe a dehumidifier for the basement, it smelt a little musty down there, for the ones who had to sleep there. Other than that the house was great!

Everything was here that we could have wanted. Lots of cooking over our weekend and the kitchen had every appliance and gadget we needed! Plenty of towels for showers, pool and beach fun! We feed 16 family members with ease. Plenty of room to enjoy large discussions or space to slip away for private time. Grilled, swam, laughed, ate, enjoyed the outdoors, walks to town, easy and quick access to all things Lake George! Thank you BIG HOUSE and host Julie.

We had such a wonderful time! The house was very comfortable, clean, and homey. Very private, off a quiet road and mostly surrounded by woods. Love that wraparound porch! Lots of seating for our big family with everything we needed. It felt like we were staying with friends. It was incredible - cleaning supplies, paper towels, a fully stocked kitchen (fantastic coffee!), and lots of extra blankets and sheets. Even some toys and board games for the kids! A short drive (15-20) to the Lake George beaches, mini golf, and Lake George downtown. Check out the local fish hatchery - great for kids! Thank you Julie!

Family vacay

Our group of 6 adults and 4 children had plenty of room at this comfortable vacation rental. We appreciated that each family had, pretty much, a designated area with plenty of space. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool and playing basketball in the driveway area. They especially enjoyed making s'mores over the firepit. The rental was well stocked with paper supplies and kitchen needs. We did have one issue, but after reaching out to Julie, the owner, that issue was resolved very much to our satisfaction. Julie was always available, prior to our checking in, to answer my many questions in a timely fashion. She was helpful with suggestions and information. We had to cut our stay a day short due to illness, and when I reached out to let her know, she was genuinely sorry that our vacation plans had to change. Please do not hesitate to enjoy this lovely wooded retreat with family and/or friends.

The Big House in Warrensburg checked all the boxes for our annual family vacation that includes 6 adults and 4 kids ages 5 to 10. Most important box for me, it was very clean! The two families of four each had an area with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom to their own and lucky grandparents (us!) had what the kids called the “grand bedroom” with bathroom. The basement area is not as pretty, but it is secluded from the rest and dark for those who like to sleep in. Our son’s family was happy there. The pictures on VRBO do not give the kitchen/dining/living room areas justice. They are more open than I expected and worked well for all of us. We can’t say enough about what the yard offered. The pool was clean. The paved area was great for bikes, balls and games, many of which were available. Both fire pit and gas grill were great. Woods are around the yard and was peaceful. Julie was very attentive. She reached out to us during a tornado warning, told us where to find candles, lanterns, etc. I would recommend this house, especially for a family with kids who love to play outdoors. We really enjoyed The Big House, inside and out!

Great house!

We were a group of 11 and we had such a great time! The house is nice and big and has plenty of space, beds, towels/ beach towels etc. Julia is a great host and we would love to come back. Very accommodating. The house is maybe 10-15 mins from the center of town with a lot to do in the area.
