  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Cabin was great! It was nice and secluded, but at the same time clean and modern. Plenty of place for the kids to spread out and also enjoy family dinners together. Hot tub and firepit were a nice touch.

Great stay

was a great house to stay in. I would have like to have extra towels and coffee mugs so we didn't have to wash them every day. Needs a dish drainer and ironing board/ iron. As far as location, the house was quiet and close enough to Lake George Village to be convenient. Hose was beautiful inside and out!
