The house was exactly as depicted in the pictures which was a testament to the home away from home vibe that my family came to enjoy and appreciate. Despite the long driveway was occasionally icy due to winter conditions, we were well informed of potential hazards conditions. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful experience and would put our seal of approval for anyone considering this property for a stay. Thank you brothers for your great hospitality."

"My husband and I made a spur of the moment decision to go on a little getaway for our anniversary. We’ve both always wanted to stay in a cabin at the Poconos during the winter, so it was a no brainer for us that that’s where we were going. My husband came across Mt. Maplewood Lodge when searching for a place for us to stay, and we knew immediately that’s where we wanted to stay, and we are so glad we did. It was the cutest, coziest cabin. We enjoyed everything about it. One of our favorite things about it was the hot tub. It was perfect for these cold, snowy nights. The game room was also really cool. The host, Ricky, was super sweet. We really appreciated the guidebook he made, which had everything you could think of, from places to eat, activities to do, places to shop, etc. It was extremely helpful for us, because we’ve never been to the Poconos before, and since this trip was so last minute, we didn’t have time to plan anything out ahead of time. Just everything about our stay was perfect. We were so sad when we had to leave. We definitely plan on staying here again."

"The house was extremely clean. Our host, Lori, was amazing! Anytime I had a question or concern, she was right on top of it. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I only had one problem and it was a big one. There was a TV in each bedroom and one in the living room. The TVs were useless. Each TV had an Amazon Fire Stick attached to it. We couldn't get any of them to work so we couldn't watch college football yesterday. The master bedroom had a Firestick but no remote control so we couldn't even turn the TV on. Of the TVs we could turn on, you needed to use your own streaming subscriptions. Well, none of us subscribe to any streaming services so we couldn't watch any TV at all. You should put this information in all of your Vrbo listings that don't have at least basic cable. This was extremely disappointing and if we ever use your service again, and we will, I will definitely ask about the TV situation and in our case, it will definitely be a deal breaker. Thank you."

"The home was absolutely lovely. It was located in a nice and quite neighborhood, but was close enough to Walmart, Aldi, multiple food restaurants, and multiple gas stations. A few reasons for the low rating include, house could have been much cleaner, there was visible dust all over the house, couch cushions were stained and even some of the comforters were stained. Also unfortunately although there is a fireplace it does not work. Backyard was nice and spacious but again was not well kept and deck looked as though no one bothered to clean it. Grill was also not cleaned when we went to use it. A major downside for me and the main reason for a low rating is due to how sensitive the fire alarms were. The fire alarms would go off every time we cooked anything whether it was breakfast, dinner, or even something as simple as smores. Along with the fire alarm the home security system kept going off at all times of the day and we code was not provided. Oh also there was no hot water after 2 people showered forcing the rest of the guest to shower in cold water. "
