"This cabin was the perfect basecamp for a couple of days of skiing at Purgatory. Completely private and just minutes from the resort, it’s ideally located between Durango and Silverton.The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The wood-burning fireplace was a wonderful bonus and made evenings especially cozy after a day on the mountain.We brought our two dogs, and they absolutely loved exploring the surrounding woods and we enjoyed taking in the beautiful mountain views.We’ve already recommended this place to friends who plan to visit the area next summer. Thanks Sean!"

"We had a fantastic family stay, Not much snow, but the walks around the cabin the Jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck made up fo the lack of snow. The cabin is well equipped with a lot of nice upgrades. We will definately be back if you will have us :-)"

"Beautiful home that sits at the end of a well-maintained dirt road. If you're "city folk", you might find the drive up (consisting of some twists and turns) intimidating, but it's navigable in 2WD/FWD during non-winter times. I drove it a number of times in 2WD in a half-ton pickup and another drove it in a FWD car, no issues. Now onto the visit - we had a hiccup at the beginning, but the owner stayed on top of it and got the issue resolved. After that it was smooth sailing. The photos on the listing are accurate. Very enjoyable stay. Sean was good to communicate with and made sure we were taken care of. Thanks Sean, for letting us stay at your great place!"

"Plenty of room for a family of 5. Everything we needed was there. Perfect distance to Purgatory Ski Area. Rental is an upstairs unit so be prepared to walk up stairs.(Random ski tip: If you are skiing, we highly recommend paying a little extra at the ski resort so they can hold your skis so you don’t have to lug them around.)"
