Weekend Fishing Trip

The Lily Pad is a charming little lakeside cottage with amazing views! I loved the charm of the inside and the treehouse like deck on the back. The biggest draw back is that it sits right on the road and you can hear the traffic going by. Our group of friends were quite satisfied with our stay. It is clean, warm, has all the amenities, and the host responds quickly. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean, well set up, and perfect for our weekend on the lake. The host was wonderful and very accommodating! Looking forward to staying again!

Relaxing, quiet, stunning views!

We stayed for a week and had the best time! Watching the sunrise and set from the dock. We didn’t catch very many fish with the lake water level being lower but regardless the lily pad was amazing and accommodating. Plenty of room and all the amenities you would need!

Catfish masters

First night we had no water till midnight. No fault of property owner but an inconvenience none the less. The city apparently has previous complaints. Second night two women knocked loudly and woke everyone at 230am looking for Reddog. Good.location to lake we fish not providence. Nice dock good place to clean fish. Always enjoy this location. 4th visit. Will return again next March or early April.

Amazing Property!

We had a phenomenal stay at The Lily Pad. I only wish we could have stayed more days. The kitchen is well stocked. The property was clean. The pier was incredible. Watching the sun rise across the lake was breath taking every morning. If the fish aren't biting, there's plenty games for you to enjoy, or movies to watch. We brought the corn hole boards and tossed some bags beneath the deck. There was plenty room. I can't express how pleased we were with our stay. The host was very nice and answered all messages promptly. We hope to stay again soon.

Go Catch Some Fish!

You will love the Lily Pad to stay at because.... #1) You can use 1/0 hooks with worms threaded up the shank, and sink your line to the bottom off the deck with a small weight only. Don't cast. Just wait and enjoy. Bring a net as there are both bullheads and pan fish available.You will catch fish! The kids will love it! #2) The linens and beds are luxurious, the kitchen is stuff with helpful things, and the TV line up is fantastic. #3) The air conditioning is the best we've ever had at any VRBO, and we were totally amazed how cool the house stayed while it was stifling hot outside (crazy cool). #4) The homeowner is extremely attentive and answers questions/needs instantly. #5) My very disabled husband of 92 years was totally able to enjoy every aspect of the place. He had a blast! Wish I could post pics of his fish! Try to make a game of figuring out the different ages of the home. The original house was built in the early 1900's I believe, but an awesome addition, including a screened barbecue porch (so handy) was added later. We had a great time thinking about the architecture. Parking was fantastic. The view was gorgeous. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy the lake soon Take good care of this beautiful home! We'll be back!

This is a beautiful house right on the lake. Very roomy and nice kitchen. It was just an overnight stop on ourcway to the beach, but would love to come back and stay a few days.

Fantastic Lakehouse

We had a nice stay in the Lily Pad! The kids loved running around through the maze of doors. It was fun to have the deck out over the water. We all slept comfortably. It is right next to the highway and that made me a little nervous with my little kids so I made sure I was very aware of where they were.

Perfect Stay

We loved everything about our stay at The Lily Pad. We were there for a funeral, but our stay felt like home and actually we were sad to have to leave.
