The rooms itself weren’t great. Even though we were told they have been renovated recently, it still seems pretty old, and some rooms I’d say are dirtier than the others. However, the services were fine, I asked if we can get a different room than the one assigned to us because we weren’t satisfied with it, and they did give us a better room. They even offered to give us a free night stay and give us a full refund because we weren’t satisfied with the first room, but it wasn’t necessary. I’d say the best feature is that it’s a quarter mile away from the beach, and it’s just easy for us to walk around the area without any worries. This place is also probably the most affordable deal you can get, so if you’re okay with not being in a fancy hotel and to save hundreds of dollars, this place might be for you.

The best thing about this property is that you can walk to the beach and around the town area. Property wise-bed was ok, tv good, carpet was dirty, bathroom ok. Wallpaper and walls need attention. No air conditioning but not need. My husband and I like to stay in retro type older motels -this one is just old.

Our stay was really nice. The manager is on site and was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The beds and pillows were very comfortable The property is located right on the Main Street and only 5 minute walk to the beach You could easily walk to get food and Ice cream. Attention to ceiling is crucial for cleanliness. So much dust dripping off the ceiling and cobwebs. Wish there was air conditioning but the price was good and the bed was comfortable enough. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This property is old and very dated. The room did include a microwave and fridge. The listing was clear that there was no air conditioning, but the room had a box fan which worked well. We were able to view the room before we were charged, which was nice. The price was reasonable for North Lake Tahoe.

Pet hair and stains on pillows

At an older, cheaper motel, you can't have high expectations, and it was fine for what it is, but the (pet?) hair and strange stains on the pillows crossed a line.
