“My son & I had a wonderful stay on the LYLA, located in the heart of historic Gig Harbor. Nestled between 7 Seas and The Tides Tavern, this beautifully refurbished yacht was thr perfect spot. We had several days of great weather ("The mountain was out!"), and got to experience the Maritime Gig Festival. Wildlife abounds with harbor seals, bald eagles, osprey, purple martins and more. The boat is very well appointed, with an espresso machine and full kitchen. The beds were comfy and warm and……

“Sent my mom here for mother’s day to spend a few days away from the hectic city and work. She texted me almost once an hour about how she was in love with the place. She sat by the window in the kitchen with a glass of wine most of her time and read a book and enjoyed the view. She raved about how nice it was and how she never wanted to leave. Communication with the host was so easy and she was quick to respond, she even let my mom check in an hour early because she was in town early due to……

“This place was wonderful and the pictures did not do it justice! It was ann adorable quaint waterfront location and the view spectacular. There were 4 of us and rooms were comfortable. Had all the cooking items needed, and linen. We took the Bremerton Ferry into Seattle which is a nice trip into the city. Then in the evenings we would come back and sit outside next to the water and light the fire. Was a great setup for 3-4 individuals and highly recommend.”

“Everything was as expected and more! There was two days of shrimp fishing and a fisherman who had spoken to us brought us a huge bag of 5-7” shrimp for our enjoyment. We watched two orcas playing for hours from the front porch picnic table while having morning coffee! There were several outlets nearby to the Olympic Park and we saw a herd of Roosevelt Elk at the Jefferson wildlife reserve. Most of all, our hosts kindness and respect plus the cute touches in the cabin really eclipsed the natural……

“This was an incredibly relaxing and memorable place to stay! The home is beautifully maintained in the original character. Views of Mount Rainer from our bedroom and the front porch were breathtaking. We saw river otters feeding, eagles nesting in the tree on the property, and an orca swimming by right in front of us! Admittedly, we had warm weather and bright blue sky for our visit, but it was just heavenly.”

“We decided to try a boat instead of a hotel for our stay in Gig Harbor. What a fabulous experience it was. The boat was a classic wood hull and interior, beautifully restored, with everything working perfect. Michelle was an amazing host, extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The setting in Gig harbor was spectacular, views, wildlife....lot's of stuff to do..and within walking distance to the historic downtown waterfront area. HIGHLY recommend you give one of their 3 boats a try!!”

“This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time.”

I was worried because I am 6'4'' but The Tiny House was plenty big for me! Very clean, accommodating, and located in a very quiet neighborhood with all you need in the area. The host is very responsive and kind. I highly recommend the Tiny House and will certainly check their availability when I am in town again!”
