Excellent pool

This property was exactly as listed, very nice with a great view of the lake and an awesome pool! We had two adults and a kid, and it was perfect for us. We had such a great time and definitely will stay again!

Lakeport Cottage

Our lakefront cottage was very clean with comfy beds. The interior was lovely with a great kitchen. The pool was great with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. It was central to everything with several nice cafes close by.

Relaxing and peaceful

We had a great few days here! Very comfortable and easy house. We would definitely stay again! We loved hanging out by the pool and eating the majority of our meals at the outside table. Communication by the management was great, very easy to get a hold of.

So Charming

This was in a really great location. Close to stores & the lake. The place was perfect inside but needed blinds in the living & dining areas. Pool was beautiful but so cold we couldn’t swim. Plus, pool was for tall people! We were never able to touch the bottom. A little scary at times.over all beautiful place! A dock access would have been great too!

Beautiful Lake view with pool!

We loved staying at this lovely Lakeport house. It was a hot weekend so we spent hours in the pool. Due to Covid we chose to cook all our meals at the house and found everything we needed in the stocked kitchen. And you can't beat the views of the lake!

Our stay was amazing and very comfortable! The owner was very helpful and even though the kitchen was damaged from the previous guests, Jason made certain we were set up to enjoy our time. He even helped us program the tv.We came to enjoy family (10 grandchildren) and our granddaughters graduation and vacation home was the best thing for all of us! We made memories I know I dreamed of and my children are still talking about swimming with Gram. Thank you for all your work in maintaining this home!

Comfy old house

There where lots of great things about this place! Cozy, beautiful back garden and the lake is right there. It was super clean! And beds where very comfortable! The shower was bad, the kitchen was not well equipped but it was sufficient and the finish on the house wasn’t great.

Overall the place is cute. the mattresses are not the best so don't sleep in. It would be nice if they added curtains to the kitchen and living room. Kitchen because it can get very hot sitting at the table. The living room has a couch that can be used for sleeping, so it would feel better if it had a curtain.

Cozy and comfortable

This is an older but nicely remodeled home. Beautiful views even with a rainy weekend. The lake laps right up to the edge of the property. Very close to town for entertainment but far enough away that you can get alone time. We would make 2 very strong recos. Put up curtains or blinds in the living room; it's disconcerting that the neighbors can see right in. Also, leave an instruction sheet for the TV; it was very challenging trying to figure out how the remote worked and what options were available. There was a second remote that didn't do anything. Both issues were minor compared to our overall enjoyment.

My kids and I got the the house around 6pm by 7:30 pm I went to check on the beds and on, all the beds were used and not clean dog hair human hair the cleaner just made the beds while I was undressing the one of the bed a used bloody tampon popped out I never felt so discussed in my life I was making videos at the time and I couldn’t believe, the whole place was dirty the toilet was urinate all around I send the video to the owner Jake and he called and told me that he was not believing on what he saw that his place was not like that and the he was gonna refund us the full amount never did the property management EVOLVE is Terrible I send them all the videos and they didn’t care . I had to spend four hours washing all the bed lines and blankets because my kids didn’t want to sleep on those discussed bed , on the next day I went out and found out that someone went to my car a 2021 and scratched my whole trunk again I made a video send to the owner and he never replied to me I was so stressed that I got my kids and went to a hotel spend another $200 for just one night and another $350 to get my car fixed. This was a nightmare it’s unbelievable how some people just don’t care. I don’t wish on no one what my kids and I experienced at this house .

We loved the view and pool

Great place to stay. Our family enjoyed a day out exploring the area and to come back to jump in the pool was wonderful in the 100 plus degree days. A wonderful place to stay to relax, cookout side and float in the pool. Looking forward staying here again in the future! Allowing pets a total plus for us too!

Great house to stay in

The house was clean, well located and easy to find. There was enough room for the 4 of us plus we could have had more. It rained the entire time were where there but we were expecting that. We would like to go back when we are able to use the pool! The views were beautiful and it is located close to plenty of different restaurants and several wineries and breweries. Plus we were close to Safeway to grab food.

House was hot as an oven

The house was not furnished with ANY curtains (besides the two bedrooms which had pull-down sun blocks). When we arrived for our check-in (which is no earlier than 4:00 p.m.) the a/c was not on, and the house had heated like an oven. There are windows all around the kitchen and living room (which are the only areas your family is occupying unless asleep or in the backyard). The glare from the lake/pool coming through the all-glass french doors that open the living room to the backyard made it nearly impossible to even use the living room during the day (until sunset, which is pretty late during summer in Clearlake). The home was a furnace and the a/c NEVER caught up, the entire trip the temperature inside barely got below 80 degrees, it was hugely uncomfortable to say the least. THANK GOD there was a pool. I spent far more time in it than I had even planned just to beat the heat stroke. We also took a unplanned but enjoyable trip to the local casino to enjoy their a/c and ate out rather in (as we planned) because how could we use the oven in a house already that hot? They should allow for an earlier check-in and have the a/c running when a guest is expected to check-in for their comfort (not that it would matter as the a/c can’t keep up with the heat that is beating through the uncovered windows that surround the kitchen and living room, not sure if the house has poor seals due to age or the a/c is just old?). The amount of money we had to spend on fans and dining alone was not what we expected and in the future it would be great if they put up curtains as most people will bring their own linens and cookware but few people I think travel with curtains or fans? Beyond that, we were able to enjoy our stay because of the family that went with us and the location (we love Clearlake). The house was furnished with all the cookware and linens you would need, and the pool was immaculate (also a perfect temp. morning or evening). They allow for pets and our dog was very comfortable (they have beds of different sizes and seemed to be very pet friendly which is always a plus). All in all, for what we spent I wouldn’t go back simply because of the discomfort from the heat and the glare coming through every open window off the lake and pool. It was my fiancé's birthday and it was a shame we sweated through the whole trip.

Nice little house with pool and lake view

Two bedrooms, one with a bunkbed. Nice living room, well-equipped kitchen. Walking distance to gas station/minimart, short drive to downtown Lakeport. Very nice house for a single family vacation.
