Yau Ma Tei Holidays

Five stars for the location and convenience. The hotel is very well situated, with easy access to bus, tram, and MTR stations, which made getting around Hong Kong very convenient. The staff were courteous in our limited interactions and were especially helpful in storing our luggage, since we had several bags that could not all fit comfortably in the room. The buffet breakfast was a real highlight. Both we and our kids enjoyed it, and there was enough variety to keep it enjoyable throughout our three-night stay. The only slight downside was that the rooms felt dated and could use modernization. Rooms lack toiletries and some of the furnishings and signs showed wear and would benefit from an updated look. Overall, we are glad we stayed at Ibis and would definitely consider staying there again if we travel through Hong Kong.

I booked a room with 3 people, 2 adults, one child. They gave me a room with 2 twin beds. The day after I came back at night time and recognized my room hadn’t been cleaned. Then the other morning I came to the front desk and asked to clean my room today. They said the janitor reported them my room stayed with 3 people with 2 beds, so she didn’t clean my room. I was so mad about this because I booked with 3 people in one room.
