Cottage "Desideri". 4 km from the centre of Vinci, on the outskirts, 3 km from the centre of Lamporecchio, 50 km from the centre of Firenze, in the countryside. Private: property 500 m2 (fenced) with trees, meadow, swimming pool (above ground) kidney shaped (8 x 5 m, depth 130 cm, seasonal availability: 10.May. - 25.Sep.). Outdoor shower, hot tub, terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, parking on the premises. Supermarket 3 km, bus stop 2 km, railway station "Empoli" 15 km, sandy beach "Viareggio" 65 km. Golf course (18 hole) 15 km.
4-room house 130 m2 on 2 levels. Cosy furnishings: living room with open-hearth fireplace (only for decoration), satellite TV and air conditioning. Exit to the terrace. 1 open room with 1 bed (80 cm), shower/WC. Exit to the garden. Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 gas rings, toaster, freezer, electric coffee machine) with dining table. Exit to the terrace. Upper floor: 2 rooms, each room with 1 french bed (160 cm), air conditioning. Open gallery with 1 bed (130 cm), air conditioning. 2 showers/WC. Gas heating. Parquet floors. Box-room. Facilities: washing machine, iron, baby cot for up to 2 year olds. Internet (WiFi, free). Parking (1 car) at the house. Please note: non-smoking house. Maximum 3 pets/ dogs allowed. Absolute perfection!

Our stay at Casa Desideri was an absolute dream. My husband, 22yo daughter, 18yo son and I stayed here for 4 nights after spending 3 nights in Venice (took the train from Venice to Florence and rented a car), and we loved every minute! The views, the decor, the spacious rooms and wide-open windows and doors on every side were exactly what we had envisioned for our Tuscan experience. It was very easy to reach by car and well-positioned for day trips to Florence (we drove to Empoli and easily took the train into the city), Pisa/the coast, Vinci and others. A grocery store is conveniently located about 5 minutes away. Kitchen very well-stocked with pots, pans and utensils for cooking. Swimming pool was a lovely extra and had the best view of all! Our host, Simone, could not have been more accommodating. Sent us a comprehensive brochure about the property and nearby restaurants, etc., and was available via What's App when we had questions. We easily checked in and out with the code to a masterlock at the gate to the property that contained the keys to the house and a fob for the gate. The rental is the back portion of a larger home divided into apartments, but it is designed perfectly to maximize privacy and quiet--we never saw another person our entire stay. The parking is private and separate from that for the other residents, and the yard and patios are well-enclosed by shrubbery and vines that keep the entire area private. Very thoughtfully designed. Tolle Lage, tolles Haus!

Auf unserem Toscana Kurz-Trip konnten wir den Aufenthalt in der Villa Desideri sehr geniessen. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal, um die umliegenden Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten (Florenz, Lucca, Vinci oder Pisa zu besuchen. Es ist äußerst ruhig gelegen und der kleine Garten bietet einen wunderschönen Blick in die umliegende Landschaft. Der private Pool ist sichtgeschützt gelegen und es lässt sich dort wunderbar relaxe4n. Der gesamte Bereich des Hauses ist durch eine eigene Toreinfahrt abgesichert, so dass sich dort auch gut parken lässt. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt und sowohl Schlüsselübergabe als auch -rückgabe haben wunderbar geklappt. Immer wieder gerne, wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit dort.

What a fantastic vacation villa!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is very welcoming and the owners are very sweet and helpful. There is a local market just down the street, many tourist destinations nearby and the scenery that the villa sits in is breathtaking. We will recommend this location to anyone!

Nice place and good value

The house was comfortable once we had the heat on. Simone was very accommodating and spoke perfect English. Beautiful views of the countryside, very quiet and serene. We had been under the impression there were washer and dryer, but there was only a washer. There was no bathroom soap or shampoo or any amenities like that, so be sure to take your own. Our early April stay was a bit cool, but still we enjoyed the amazing Italian hospitality and landscape.

Sehr idyllisch und erholsam.

Wir haben hier unseren ersten Toskanaurlaub verbracht und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Mit dem Auto kann man die Umgebung sehr gut erfahren. Das Geburtshaus von Leonardo Da Vinci, Florenz, Pisa und Lucca sind nur einige Ausflugsziele. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und sauber. Der grosse Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und gepflegt. Man hat einen weiten Blick und kann ungestört die Landschaft geniessen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in max. 10' mit dem Auto. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Séjour idyllique

Bonjour, Nous avons séjourné à 6 pdt 1 semaine à la Casa Desideri, et la maison est aussi belle que sur les photos, nous n'avons pas été déçus. Nous recommandons vivement cette location, qui est idéalement située, à la fois très proche du centre de Lamporecchio, de ses commerces et des principaux lieux de visites (Florence, Pise, Sienne..) mais également au calme au milieu des oliviers et des vignes.
