"If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. "This hotel was great and we really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful place and being on a quiet bay really added to the experience. The staff were all so kind and polite. It's in a great location as well for easily going out to explore the island if you take a taxi. I'm a vegetarian and managed to find enough to eat across the week for all our meals, though some of the labelling/ingredients were confusing but when I raised this the staff were always happy to talk and help. June is more of a quiet season and we did get a rain storm at some point almost every day, but we like the quieter feel and didn't mind the storms."
