Pantai Cenang is the best beach on the island. We stayed centrally for a few days and did all the sight seeing from there. Hired a car and did most of the hotspots in a day

The airport is very compact and modern and quiet compared to other airports. Grab cars are very reasonable and never had to wait more than 5 minutes for them to arrive. Duty free shops are everywhere and very reasonable. Beaches are excellent !!!

The people we met who lived in Langkawi were all very friendly and always smiling and helpful. The scenery is also fabulous.
