Older building, with charm. Perfect for a quick getaway or to hunt and/or fish the area. Beds comffy, a bit loud, with voices coming through from other rooms. TV and coffee. For the price, it is perfect!

It was a non enjoyable stay. So many updates needed to the room, not clean, full of beetles, patio out our room was filthy. On and on and on. The heater unit stunk terrible when it ran.

We had a room booked for Oct. 10th. The room key was in a lockbox that we accessed outside the room. As we unlocked the room, we could see dead bugs in the window sill. Took a deep breath and opened the door. Asian beetles were everywhere, on the drapes, window, walls, bedspread, ceiling and flying around the room. Turned around and put the key back in the lockbox and drove away. No way could we sleep in a room that had that many bugs in it. No other hotels anywhere nearby so 1/2 of our party decided to return home to St. Louis and we drove home to the Twin Cities. Contacted Expedia that night about the issue and they attempted to call the hotel. Was told by Expedia that they could not get a hold of anyone and would get back to us in 24-48 hours. We still have not heard back from Expedia. This place was cute looking, the room might have been ok to stay in, but we were not even going to attempt it with all the bugs.

Good location. Didn’t get the room we booked because they over booked. No one was at the office on the property at check in. Text us another room number and the code to lock box. It had no key in it. So had to call again and she gave us another room. So was just a little frustrated.
