“Everything was just as it appeared in the original vrbo advertisement. The casita was extremely clean and very inviting to stay in. The hosts were available and helpful with an auto concern of mine. “I stayed for two days at this location . On the first day I mostly grabbed custard and relaxed at the rental. I somehow missed that the place had a hot tub and pool, so I was pleasantly surprised. The next day, I traveled to White Sands. The Vrbo provided sleds, which I gladly used to enjoy the beautiful park. It was a pretty simple drive. “This is a beautiful, well kept apartment. There is a stair case that one needs to climb to get into the apartment which may be a good factor to consider for some. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again!”

“Lovely place. Response to requests for assistance were prompt, and Carla was friendly and very efficient. This was the third time I have stayed here, and I enjoy it very much. The only drawback is the noise - the building has lots of banging/creaking going on. During the day it is not too noticeable but can be quite loud at night.”

As a health IT and writer, privacy and safety are my main concerns, and you get both with the "Shay" properties. This location is very convenient for shopping and outdoor activities. “This worked well for me. The studio is attached to the owner's residence. You can arrange use of the laundry in the owner's portion of the property. You can use the owner's kitchen, since the studio has a microwave, but not a full stove/oven. Imelda is very friendly and outgoing, so just knock on the door and ask about laundry or kitchen access. “We booked this for a 2 week trip, and the apartment looked like the pictures. Everything was updated and clean. However, the split units didn’t provide much heat when the temperature dropped at night so the unit was rather cold throughout the night and in the mornings. The water heater also did not work very well, as we lost hot water after a 6 minute shower. “The check in process was easy. Barbara provided clear instructions and was quick to respond to questions. She was flexible in our check-in time. Although the property could use a few upgrades, it was very clean and equipped with most of what we needed for our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.”
