“We had a fantastic stay at Le Stanze del Console. The location is perfect for exploring the town, piazza, and a short walk to the famous 007 bridge. The staff were fantastic - they were available at any time, and the rooms were cleaned every day. It's a family-run business, so the staff are very friendly. We are coming back! "The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance."
