By the time we arrived our check-in email from the Guesthouse still had not arrived in our email inbox. This email is the only way in to your room, as it holds the lockbox code which holds your key. "The Mürren Palace Hotel is top-tier. The location and scenery are breathtaking, the rooms are flawless, and the sauna and steam rooms were a absolute dream after a long day out. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff, especially the amazing bartender. She delivered perfect custom cocktails, remembered my order, and shared it with her team. More than anything, she and the others pulled off the ultimate trick of elite service: making me feel they genuinely cared about me. Fabulous property, fabulous staff."

"Room was small and lacked amenities like a refrigerator or A/C but was to be expected for an old Swiss building. However the room was very clean, comfortable and cozy. The restaurant and staff were the highlight of the stay. Everyone was extremely friendly and very helpful. Food was also very good and was one of the more affordable options considering the high prices in Switzerland. If you’re planning to stay in Wengen I highly recommend it !"

"This is an amazing property with the most incredible view you’ve ever seen. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh eggs, fruit, bread and pastries. The walk up the hill to the hotel is very steep and was difficult after and long day of hiking and touring. But it is worth it for the view. Our room was clean and functional. My only complaint was the shower. It was small and the water leaked all over the bathroom. Overall I would highly recommend Hotel Alpenruhe!"
