“When we came to the 'reception' to gain access to the property, we were advised that the unit was not available because it had already been taken (?!) and we were being given a 'suite' in the same building as the reception. The problem was that this was nowhere near the sea. Rather than 20 steps, it was an hour's walk away on mean suburban roads largely without sidewalks. “A Truly Unforgettable Stay in GradoliOur family had the most incredible time at this home. To be honest, I wish I could gatekeep this place and all its specialness so fewer tourists would find out about it! The home itself is a perfect blend of historic Italian charm and modern amenities. “This host is lazy at best and deceptive at worst. I've never written a negative review before but here we go:
- I sent 3 messages in the 3 days leading up to our stay with no response from Maria (no information provided regarding check-in process etc). She only got back to me a few hours before check-in time.
- Check-in is advertised as 2pm and is one of the reasons we booked this accommodation as we were arriving from a long flight that morning. A few hours before check-in she advised it……
