Fernando de Noronha Leao Beach Hotels

"My husband and l are from the USA and stayed for one week in February 2026 in a room with a king size bed and ocean views. I was very nervous about going to a remote island with no chain hotels or known car rental agencies. The island businesses are completely run by locals using whatsapp. Mar em Mim had only 12 reviews at the time l made the reservation, so it was kinda risky, but l it had everything l wanted. I was so pleasantly surprised. The pousada (bed & breakfast) was exactly as pictured...

"The location is excellent, strategically placed to explore Fernando de Noronha. It’s very close to some of the island’s best beaches, such as Praia do Bode and Boldró, the latter just a 5-minute walk away. It’s also only about a 10-minute ride from the main square, where you’ll find the largest concentration of bars, restaurants, and shops, though there are also a few options within walking distance. "Fair staying for the price, the crew is very supportive. They missed room service on sunday, wi-fi was charged an extra fee, the room is clean but very small, cable tv has the top package, and we were allowed late check-out for free. Location was very good, walking distance to Boldro beach. Like I wrote, it was fair but I probably would not come back."

"Everything was great. From the hosts Douglas and his mother were amazing. Perfect location. Everything is walkable or 10 minutes by buggy. The included breakfast was prepared fresh to order by the chef. We were extremely happy with our experience here. The people are so friendly and welcoming. Plus the charm of this place being so small was great. The pictures shown on here don't do it justice. It's a fairly new property but don't hesitate to book here! "

"Cute and well located inn, with very friendly service. Excellent restaurant (Xica da Silva) and convenience store just down the street. You are quick taxi ride to all beaches so there is no need to rent a buggy. The mattress and pillows were covered in rubber protective casings which was odd. There is no WiFi or cell signal at this pousada or on the island, so be ware of being stuck without internet. All in all, this is a nice bed and breakfast but is too pricey for what you get."
