“The property is breathtaking from the drive into the woods the serenity begins. When you get to the end of the driveway the views are just beautiful. There is something so peaceful about the surroundings. The room itself feels like you are at a spa vacation. The tub was awesome! We had our anniversary dinner at a nearby restaurant the bluebird inn and the food was wonderful. If you need a place to escape the day to day hustle and bustle this it because it’s close enough to everything yet feels……

“The manor on front is a beautiful property comprised of two historic houses with ample grounds looking out at the Susquehanna river. Our room was very big with windows all around and an absolutely gorgeous king sleigh bed. The owners were very nice, pleasant to talk to and full of suggestions for restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and took advantage both of what the city of Harrisburg has to offer as well as surrounding nature. Definitely recommended.”

“What a beautiful place! The outside of this historic home was perfectly manicured and the colors of the trees and flowers blooming added to the spring vibes. Brenda was so welcoming and took time when we arrived to tell us some history of the home and the area. She had local menus for dinner options and, knowing that we were there for a weekend of antiquing, had a brochure with all the local spots! Our room was charming, and my the bed was comfy. I’ve only stayed there for one night on a work trip, but I got to enjoy the outdoors with a coffee in the afternoon, an amazing home cooked breakfast and a lovely chat with the owner. The room was exactly as pictured, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was so cute! It’s a real bed and breakfast, you feel home and welcomed. A unique property that’s worth a stay!”

And his gourmet plated breakfasts were delicious and way above expectations.”

“Our group of friends had a wonderful stay! Everything about this home exceeded our expectations! The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our group of 6. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed and our group also enjoyed viewing the stars at night in the very large hot tub!
