“It was a delight to stay in the Shoe which I saw for so many years on the way to visit my extended family in Reading, PA from Baltimore. Enjoyed the design of the shoe house and there was something quaint about the rooms that made them comforting. The hot tub and fire pit were nice additions. The host was very responsive. It was a delight!”

“This was my second time at this cottage and hope to stay again. It rained the whole time! But, with such a cozy place to read and relax, listen to the rain and enjoy the ambiance it was lovely. I walked for a nice dinner at the Hideaway. I walked to Mt Gretna Mercantile for a few treats and always enjoy chatting with the sweet owners. I had an incredible lunch at Porch and Pantry. All without getting in my car. I highly recommend!”

“This place was amazing! It has such a sense of calm and peace and was perfect for our family get-together. The bedrooms were spacious. We appreciated the snacks and whoopie pies provided. Derrick responded quickly to our questions about some light switches. It was convenient to our sightseeing adventures in the Lancaster area. Beautiful setting with the horse farm next door and the Amish buggies going by. Would definitely stay there again!”

“This is a wonderful home. The house is so comfortable and the bed rooms are great. The bathroom is very very nice and large. There are air conditioners in every room which makes it great on hot summer days. The best part is the porch. It is so large and comfortable. It also has ceiling fans. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare the perfect meal. A full size refrigerator/freezer is a big plus. Everything is provided such as towels and sheets. The house is super clean and tidy. “I believe this was the cleanest place I have ever stayed at before. Wooden floors throughout you can walk barefoot and not even feel dust under your feet. The house had so much character, it was very comfortable to stay in. The only thing I didnt realize when booking the place was the location. By the pictures it looked like it was located on a back county road but its actually located on a pretty busy road with houses all around it. I will say the location was ideal for us even being located in……
