“Wonderfully relaxing and so unique!”

“Wonderful time for our family. The outdoor area was a hit with the covered area, comfy hammock chairs, and awesome fire pit. Loved the outdoor shower and peaceful mornings having coffee on the deck with the birds. Hosts thought of everything and were very friendly!”

“This is a perfect getaway place to leave everything behind for a few days. Our hosts provided us with everything and more to make our stay pleasant and stress free. I would have liked to have a tv in the bedrooms only because I usually sleep with it on and turns off with timer set. We definitely plan on coming back again. Easy access to everything. Great restaurants. Went to Roadhouse, Jalisco’s Mex Restaurant, Southside Market BBQ, all had excellent food. 12 miles away from Bastrop Historic……

“The property is located a about a mile off of 290. The house has been updated with nice appliances and is fully furnished. The kitchen has all the conveniences of home. The home has 2 bedrooms, but has another room that could be used for sleeping. There is no laundry room available. The yard is gated and fully fenced in for the little ones. It was enjoyable to sit out on the patio and watch the birds. The property is quiet which is refreshing for us city folk. Bring some apples to feed the……

“The home was absolutely lovely. I was a tad bit surprised by the location and outside, but once you are inside it feels like home! Not many places (hotel-wise) in Giddings that give you the feels. “The Howdy Ranch was everything we needed… From the moment we stepped foot on this property til the time we left it was perfect. The pictures and descriptions are true. The fridge and pantry were stocked with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing and exposing our pup to the cattle and deer that visited us each afternoon. “The home was beautifully appointed. The beds were comfortable and all the TVs worked. We had a toddler and the Poole was great for her There are some issues with cleanliness, but nothing major. It looked like it had been a while since anyone had thoroughly cleaned the back yard and pool area. You need to bring your own laundry pod, Kleenex, dish soap, etc. It was a very delightful, relaxing back yard and a nice spot at night to gather and listen to music and float in the pool. I would……

“I had to make an impromptu trip and needed to crash for a night and wasn't expecting a whole lot, but the room was actually fantastic. It looked like it was recently renovated and the renovation was done well and in good taste. I had to leave before breakfast, but I was really pleased with how nice the room was.”
