「Very quaint and clean with a perfect pub attached. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. A bit out of town but still a great location near a park and the river to walk. Train station in Glen Abbey is walkable. It was a bit chilly when we arrived but the room warmed up nicely」

「Excellent bed and breakfast, host was very friendly and helpful, room and amenities were excellent and attention to detail was fantastic. Close to the train station and on site parking. Would definitely stay again.」

「In the heart of countryside sits this lovely manor and only a short walk away from the nearest town. If you want a simple stay with an easy breakfast and delightful, kind and helpful staff this is the place you want. Visited 3 times and shall be using again.」

「We pre booked and paid for dinner only to find at check in that dinner wasn’t available and we had been booked at a pub 10 minutes away by car. We didn’t want to drive again we wanted to eat and relax after a day of travel. As there wasn’t an alternative we didn’t go to the pub where the main course was fine but not what we wanted. Had we been informed that dinner wasn’t available we would have booked elsewhere.」

「I cannot speak highly enough of this Hotel. Our stay was enhanced by the ambience, the welcome we received and the service was exceptional. A most relaxing and enjoyable experience in a house that is so steeped in history, but so comforrable. Can't wait to visit again. Highly recomnended. Thank you Robina and Val. 」
