Sea view room - comfortable bed, clean and pleasant. A small fridge would have completed it. Great location to walk into Cowes. Excellent breakfast and very friendly hosts made for a very enjoyable stay.

Nice inn. Friendly owners, nice room, very clean. Great breakfast. Checkin was easy but I suggest offering option to contact by phone or WhatsApp since we had data for internet but not cellular to make phone calls.

The place was beautiful in a quiet part of town and Mark did an excellent work to welcome us. The breakfast was delicious and meticulously prepared for us, vegetarians and one, GF. Never slept that well after a long train ride and walking. Thank you, Mark!

This is a very clean property and the facilities are excellent. The room is beautiful and the breakfast was well cooked and presented with fresh local produce. The automated system of ‘self service’ for most things in the property works very well with the owners on hand if needed. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Daughter came in from out of country for school, had to spend a night here before being able to go to campus. When she arrived they had a room already ready for her and accommodated her late check-out the next day. Great service, very attentive, would definitely recommend!!

An enjoyable stay

The stay at the Caledon was exceptional. Pre-arrival information was clear and timely as was info on the morning we were to leave. The breakfast was of high quality ingredients with no stinting on the amount served. The coffee and tea in the room was of excellent quality. The bedroom was large and well lit and we really liked the layout with the two single beds at right angles giving us a little extra bit of personal space. The mattress and bedlinen was of good quality. The room was cleaned every day. We also appreciated the lovely artwork on the walls. The stairwell and carpet looked new and well cared for. The only thing we would have appreciated is a couple of hooks on the bathroom door to hang our clothes as the heating rack was used for our towels. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would defintely re-book. Thank you very much for providing such great service and hospitality .

Our room at The Caledon was spacious, well furnished, and had a lovely view of the sea. Everything was extremely well organised, with clear instructions sent before arrival. Breakfast was great, you can order what you want the night before, and everything was well cooked. I liked all the self-service items you can buy either in your room or the bar downstairs, and unlike most hotel mini bars the prices were fair. Everything is paid by scanning a QR code and paying online. Extremely convenient. It's a short walk down to Cowes High Street and the harbour. Maybe 5-10 minutes. We parked on the street to avoid blocking anyone in on the single width drive, and always managed to find a space within a minute or so of the property. All in all it was an excellent stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return if we are staying in Cowes again.
