“Property was as described in listing. We stayed for a weekend while visiting our UMaine student. Only a little further from campus than the hotel in Bangor and a whole lot less expensive and lots more space! Kitchen had what we needed to cook. We didn’t use the backyard but it looked nice and had a fire pit. Quiet area was perfect for us.”

“My family ranged in age from 19 to 70 and the property provided the perfect backdrop for all our events and antics. The pond surprised us with two good catches and a few bass. We ventured out and about into the town of Lincoln, Bangor and Aroostook county. We even had several conversations with the neighbors. “We've stayed in many cabins across Maine and this is our favorite! Everything we needed was there plus bonuses like kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, etc.. A waterfront fire pit with a beautiful view and large deck overlooking the lake puts the Lake House a step above others! Also, the town of Lincoln and surrounding areas have several awesome restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The location is withing 2 hrs driving to the trails at the base of Katahdin, many beautiful lakes, streams, rivers, and……

“Our stay at Stephanie's place couldn't have been more perfect. The place is very new, with a large, well-kitted-out kitchen (we did our own cooking instead of going out). The bedrooms are more comfortable and spacious than they look in the photos; the open living room/kitchen, dining area is large, airy, and comfortable. In addition to the gorgeous lake views from the two sets of sliding doors, water can be seen through side windows on both sides of the house: It's a lovely location. The dock……

“We, 5 adults, 4 kiddos, and 2 dogs, had such a lovely winter stay! The property is perfectly located on a pond perfect for ice fishing, or just enjoying the view, and the house was pristinely clean and very spacious inside. The beds were all VERY cozy, the kitchen was well equipped with all the cooking & baking supplies we needed to make meals to enjoy in the sun-filled main floor. Sun & snow Maine winter perfection! We hope to return to enjoy Summer or Fall here - the owners are super……

“trip was great cabin was small but hojsed 5 grown men with alot of gear just fine, beds were comfortable but do have to be a smaller adult for loft beds, as for riding trail head was hars to find but with help from local friendly neighbors we found it and had a great few days of riding plus it was nice being so close to town with powersports shops and walmart and grocery store dunks gas everything you could need we had a great time here and will be back next season.”

“We had a wonderful stay! The home is beautifully done with all the modern amenities. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and you get an amazing view of the water. It’s within walking distance to restaurants and local shops and down the street is a park. It’s only 1.25 hours away from Baxter State Park which is one of the reasons we chose it. It was nice coming back to such a cozy place from a long day of hiking. It has the cutest backyard and we enjoyed the sunset and our morning……

“This hidden gem is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Right on the lake and minutes from great hiking, this place is hard to beat! Secluded yet close enough to Lincoln and Millinocket in case you need supplies or want to sample local food and beer. The water was still a bit cold so we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but would have loved to. We will surely be back another time!!”

“It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use.”
