It's the little things: tv not working (intermittent), 3 out of 5 door locks broken, hothouse temperature on 3rd floor. Parking was a minor hassle. WiFi was all but unusable (easily overcome with minor equipment additions). These are things that should be taken care of before they demand a $200+ room charge. "Once we parked our car, we did not need to drive until check out. Everything is walkable. Room is very specious and clean. We arrived 4 hours before check-in time. Initially the staff told us the room was not ready. We expected that. But when we were telling that we just finished a long backpacking and wanted to take shower, Ms. Mandy Hernandez walked in. She found a room which was ready, so we could check in immediately. She was very helpful and super friendly. We could not appreciate her more. Only one negative thing was portable AC. Outside temperature was cooler than the room, and very noisy. We opened the deck door to cool the room. "
